Some things I have figured out recently:
– CoD will never be good again. Obviously like everyone else I stopped playing it a couple of years ago, but there was always a possibility that one day new people might take over & fix things. But it is DEAD.
– GTA 6 is going to be a massive disappointment. You will be sitting there some time in February when the novelty has worn off, and you'll realize you're bored. Bored at the thing you anticipated for over a decade.
– Battlefield 6 is always going to be a mid game. I don't see us going back to the glory days of Bf1 or Bf4 any time soon. And it's already devolving into CoD slop.
– Star Wars is garbage, Jurassic Park is garbage, Star Trek is garbage, Marvel is garbage, D.C. is garbage, Dr Who is garbage, Avatar is garbage, Alien is garbage, Terminator is garbage, Transformers is garbage (etc)…You're not getting movies or games worth watching or playing out of these dead franchises. They've been destroyed by neo-Marxist activists. It's over.
– The only way to be happy is to disengage from the culture. Get off social media, stop scrolling on your phone, don't watch popular shows or go to tentpole movies, don't pre-order AAA games, don't buy the next console or spend a grand on RAM for your PC. If you must entertain yourself, go outside and start a garden, read a book, learn a skill…Or if you want to consume media, either support small creators or else go back and play/watch stuff from the old days.
The last couple of movies I saw in the cinema were Super Troopers 3 and Heart Of The Beast. I'm never watching Avengers Doomsday. The games I'm looking forward to are things like Dust Front. Old school RTS.

4:10 I can confirm, COD really has been so bad lately it’s caused so many people to quit the franchise. I was one of them in 2021, Vanguard was so awful for me I never bought a newer COD other than BO7 as I heard there was no SBMM (didn’t play much of it either granted)😂 the only thing that brought me back to COD fully was the BO1 and especially BO2 ports. In reaponse to when you mentioned player counts being at an all time low in the US, I can safely say it’s the same as where I’m from too (the UK) I haven’t bought MW4 and literally none of my friends both on PS or in person are playing or have even spoke to me about MW4. COD really is just THAT bad now

First year since Black ops 1 I finally broke the cycle and didn’t purchase cod. The games have had 0 meaningful innovation since cod AW and BO3. MW19 was a step backwards gameplay wise and I will die on that hill. It’s only saving grace was Warzone and the new cod engine. I think COD needs a break and perhaps a COD master chief style collection can fill the gap while they take a break

I havent played COD since MW2, i havent played any balckops or any other COD game since MW2 which is probably 10 years ago or something, i finally decided to download MW4, thought id give it a go… Well, that was a mistake, what a shit show of a game this is, i played for around 8 hours and i deleted it, waste of time and money, lookijg for a refund, it hasnt changed in anyway its just hella boring, not gna get that 70 pounds back, i will never play COD ever again 😢 and i loved the original MW2
Not gonna lie, I feel lucky to have experienced the hype and excitement that came from OG CoD, MW-MW3 and BO1/BO2, they were truly once-in-a-lifetime experiences. You’ll never get that level of gaming again, you’ll never have that level of hype and excitement again. As BT said, it’s all been done to death.

I think it’d be fun if CoD were to really truly return to its roots and expand more on historical wars that are not WW2 or the Cold War. Y’know… you’re answering the call of duty during the American Revolution, the war of 1812, the Civil War, the Great War/WW1… Gives history buffs more of a reason to play these games… WITHOUT AI SLOP WRITTEN OVER. Unless someone were to mod an older CoD game with all of that.

I'm disgusting over mw4… from their movements, to gunsmith….and even dmz. Specially campaign. Luckily i smell fishy much way back since mw23. And decide i no longer feel engaged into the sh1t holes they drop. I can defend mw22 with campaign, gunsmith and DMZ. But i can't lie that Mw22 MP is blank and sadness.

Last CoDi played was Cold War. Played a little bit of multiplayer, but I actually loved the campaign, mostly.
My cod addiction was cured for about 2-3 years now and it’s been pretty great.
