I love handhelds but it needs enough power or the games need to extra attention so they're not a blurry mess. I'd love Gears, Halo, COD and my Xbox 360 library anytime.
It’s wild how creative players with AI (Claude) can make games better, while a company like MS will go all in on AI and have it make games worse.
Like, clearly there are ways to use it that don’t solely result in slop. But when you use it to make a product for less cost to yourself, that’s when it gets into issues.
So just more uncertainty, mixed/ confused messaging and "shakeups", no substance.

Some "leaks" are simply strategies to get public feedback without official acknowledgement. This gives them opportunity to change policy and say the leak was incorrect and not official.

People are losing their minds about paying .50 cents more per gallon for gas. How the f*ck does Xbox think people are going to go for a near $2,000 game console?????? If this is how things are going to go then the Series X is officially the last console I will ever own. I don't need to play games THAT badly.

Last console gen for xbox. Only a small niche market is gonna buy a console for 1800.
If it's that expensive I can stay with my current games or go full retro. Maybe even getting a new PC.
Next gen should focus on 60-120fps. Couldnt care less about raytracing.
Instead of pushing for fancier tech, can we just optimize what we have and focus on stopping relying on downscaling and framegen and try to make image quality better? Better clarity, less smearing, less blurriness, more stable framerate. Game nowadays don't look sharp even in native with pixelated vegetations.
I can't admire a game if it's down scaled to quality/balanced on FSR and a sturdy 60fps.
I've been playing older games for a while and a native, sharp 1440p or 4k with old graphics looks better than a more recent game downscaled and stuttery.
Lol they advertised these AAA titles for game pass years ago now that they're finally releasing they're going to rug pull us some of us have paid game pass for 7 years waiting these games
For 1200 to 1800 you can get a pretty good gaming computer at Walmart for that price range

Imo I dont expect The Odyssey or whatever to be on Netflix. Just take AAA day 1 off add it in 30-90 days later and make gamepass ultimate 19.99 month

xbox does not have the players or hardware numbers out there for exclusivity, they cannot afford it. Halo devolved bombing was a big loss, gamepass not growing but falling has been almost terminal for them, eday has been a failure, starfailure didn't sell games or increase hours played. As much as the xbots would love to see, they do not have an audience to do exclusives (PC are not xbox, PC is PC, xbox is xbox). You are actually brain damaged if you think they can just take everything not cod and make it exclusive. If they don't make it hardware exclusive then people just to go PC where they get it anyway or emulate it. If they make it hardware exclusive they're done in 3 years or less.
Also, EDay was the game budget, not the studio budget. Do better, report accurately.
When it comes to MC, the PC audience outweighs the xbox audience by 10-1, 100-1 even. The Java modding scene makes it the only real, true way to play MC. Everything modders can do, xbox can't. Features like create or Pixelmon/Cobblemon, various dimensions or monsters, seasons, farming. xbox can't compete with that, forget roblox whose audience size is bigger than fucking Steam DAILY. It's not even a pipe dream to compete, it's a non-starter. Xbox are just unhappy they can't monetise the PC audience, nor can they take MC away from them
Helix is not going to get gamers in, not with the prices, lack of games or the forced lock in of ecosystem that's fucking sony in the same way. PC has Steam which has a (better) OS, VR gear, the best handheld on the market, an amazing controller and the gabecube. It has everything with the portability of a handheld, the "comfortability" of a console and the freedom of a PC with it all combined. Nobody is fucking going mobile. Everything you discussed about having everything linked? Steam fucking does it.
