Worlds 2026 returns to North America for a month of international competition across 3 locations. The Play-In Stage features a 4-team, double-elimination bracket, which qualifies one team into the Swiss Stage— where they will join 15 challengers from around the global to compete for the Summoners Cup at the Grand Final in New York City.

Very happy with the Swiss format. No more groups of life or death. Each team gets more opportunities to show how they stack up against different opponents! ❤
Not that the old format was unfair. The best team ended up winning the tournament. But the new format is much better at also ranking the other finishes.
