So heads up…. pull your pal back as you see an attack going at it and it will take no damage and then you can just throw it back out. That's the way to fight big bosses with weaker pals

It probably won't happen, but I can imagine, in the series finale, Neebs finally defeats the Mammorest and either kills it or tames it. Then they can do something similar to Space Mammoth!
something that can help you with your palworld playthrough is thinking of the pals like pokemon and when you try to fight and beat or catch pals to focus on the type or element of pals that they are and do type/element matchups to deal more damage and make beating the pals you fight easier so for example the mammorest is a grass and ground type appsros Firefox with the flamethrower would deal alot of damage because fire is stronger against grass types and flying and fighting types are stronger than ground types but I dont know if there is fighting type pals in palworld but using this approach and information should help make fighting and capturing pals easier hopefully
fire is stronger than grass
grass is stronger than water
water is stronger than fire
flying and fighting is stronger than ground
I could be mistaken here but I think lightning is stronger than flying
and the last type matchup I would focus on is I think ground is stronger than lightning but I could be mistaken on that and I could be wrong but here is a idea of how to think about pals and the type of matchups you would have or use for fights
to be more effective against fighting the mammorest using fire and flying pals should be more effective and deal more damage
