  1. 2:08:58 My assumption is the timer exists
A: To prevent any potential stall strats (assuming there are any)
But more importantly B: To truly test what level the player is, and assure they are at an appropriate damage output to progress the story.

Theoretically, without the existence of the timelimit, it would be possible to beat ANY BOSS at level 1. It would take you AGES, but if you’re good enough at dodging, you could spend literal hours… slowly… pain stakingly… chipping down the boss, 1 damage at a time. The time limit prevents that, and adds a little extra layer of skill to low level battles. It’s extra pressure, as you have to strike the right balance between damage and dodging to beat the boss, otherwise you just get kicked out.

Could you argue that the player should have to freedom to beat any boss at any level, if they’re sufficiently capable? Absolutely, and I wouldn’t judge someone for having that opinion. But I’d argue that wouldn’t be healthy for the game. That’s a really boring and tedious play style, that the devs would have every right to draw a hard line on. It makes the game more fun for the average consumer to remove the masochist option completely from the table, as there would be people tempted to take the “it can bleed, it can die” approach to stumbling on a boss they are NOT ready for. Better to just put them out of that misery, then risking having them feel obligated to try to beat it in a way that would almost certainly guarantee their demise regardless.

It also acts as a soft failstate for if the player runs out of resources to fight the boss with, and can no longer deal damage. The player could also kamakazi or quit out on their own, but in case someone is dumb enough not to, the timer is there to force them to anyway.

  2. I'm only at the 2 hour mark, when you get to Victor's boss fight, there are amazing dragon moves, but you need to find skill fruit trees in high level areas. For chromite farming, the dungeons in Feybreak are the best way to farm it. Having the game basically be nighttime perpetually helps a lot with beating world bosses, you can tag them, run away, and let them reset/fall asleep. Also you can skip the tower boss quests, and just kill them to progress.

  3. So funny thing about the towers, you don't need to follow the main quest to unlock them, you just need to find and beat the tower, the quest is just there to guide players to them if they can't/don't want to find them via exploration

  4. pro tip, if you have extra workspeed potions and you actually invested any points from levels in work speed you can use a reset potion and you will no longer be capped, you can then use more work speed potions to cover the levels you put into it and move the points from levels to other skills

  5. Good Lord! You sir, have put an absurd amount of time and effort into this video and you defiantly did not have to do that. No one would have thought less of you for just tweaking the settings to make the grinding reasonable, especially after doing the majority of the challenge in good faith. The video was funny and made me laugh. Thank you for putting in so much time and effort and for your editor who also put in a lot of time editing. The both of you have a considerable amount of patience.

  6. i like the foreshadowing of cawgnito massacrimg syndicate bases, proving their danger, makes sense they were the first death theyre especially messed up with the 3x pals setting, big groups of particular pals can be super tough

  7. Seeing the craziest numbers I think I’ve ever seen for the stage of the game I’m seeing them followed by just how not-safe those stats are… It boggles the mind
