at 2:32 to 2:33 he says "the diamond platform" This implies that there is only one, which is a lie. Instead, say "a diamond platform". Lying to someone trying to escape an escape room is an offence punishable by being teleported to an area with a 10000 chunk radius of chunk bans.
A strip mine room. You give the player an infinite supply of TNT and put them in an impossible maze where they have to blow through a lot of blocks to find the exit. To discourage just blowing everything up you have some hidden blocks/items that look like they might be necessary and can get blown up in the excavation.

but surrounding the first box is a second box and a third and then a fifth, and one of them has doubled walls.
each of the between boxes has a puzzle of its own. you dont have enough pearls to get out. the actual win is below the original box

The door maze was my personal favourite here. Imagine if the last room is not an open space, but a series of interconnected rooms with different layouts and door placements. That would just drive anyone crazy xD I'm gonna try it on my brother >:)
