beside the obvious powercreep shit, NetEase really shot its own foot by releasing 2 chars a season if you at least TRY to keep balance. its an O(n^2) problem , so with every new n-th char, about n^2 new interactions with every other char is created. just keeping track of this is insane, fine tuning all these interactions is impossible in such a complex way like a hero shooter needs…

one thing to consider: (im curently at the part where you talk about phoneix being bad for the casuals)… the causals didnt hate phoenix because casuals, by definition, arent maximizing her kit and barely hitting shots. i get completely that in the high rank where phoenix can hit her shots and max her kit that she was op, but it certainly is not the same in low elo

hasnt magik had the highest win rate amongst melee basically since release?
gotta slightly disagree with her being the fairest. her portal (iframes) last too long and as a principle i disagree with any type of CC that allows the same character to then kill a squishy. magik can knock you up in the air and kill you with her button combo that requires very little aim (melee) before you hit the ground. thats honestly a bit on the low skill expression side of things.
so basically just another dive player saying all anti-dive and brawl is broken and overpowered, while also saying his own main is perfectly balanced. what a surprise!

Well said man!! I’d never played hero shooters till rivals came out and tho the initial hype/release was fun, it felt like an unpolished game and ultimately was why I moved on to overwatch after a few months.
Rivals is a lot of fun and has soo much potential but the balance isn’t right at all and that’s why I prefer overwatch; as on there roles abilities and comps acc mean sumn and feel substantial imo.
