It has to be the twist. Add a boogey every episode. It makes sense, the boogey this episode basically was fast-traveling around to people’s bases. It wasn’t one. It was two. And next episode will be three. And so on.
I’d be shocked if that doesn’t end up being the twist.

Now that everyone is alert every time the boogeyman spawns, I bet it will have an op ability next session like permanent invisibility so that he can sneak kill his targets but he will lose the ability the moment he strikes someone

with showing the clip of the boogeyman at the start of the video, Scott has managed to create so much tension and dramatic irony. Every time he goes down to that storage room I’m expecting to see the boogeyman standing there! I am stressed!!

The base is getting so cool, I really like how the interior feels.
It looks very charming. The contrast to the cold pallet and open concept of the outside creates a cozy and calming atmosphere.
Which gave me an idea….
Instead of making a secret room I suggest making a cozy labyrinth. I love your escape room, as well as, your build and seek videos. I realise this is a hardcore survival series and possibilities/resources are limeted, but I think wasting their time by creating a needle in a haystack, could be a good strategy. It would also allow for more exit routes and traps later on. Considering how awesome you and Gem at building are this could be really cool.
