“TOP 100” DEFINITION: Best? Favorite? Iconic? Influential? Timeless? Classic? All are factors sure, but in no mathematical way. It really comes down to “these are the games we would fight for.” These are the games the people that make Kinda Funny love the most.
FRANCHISES: It is up to individuals how to handle multiple franchise entries, remakes, remasters, reimaginings, and similar versions.
Barrett highlighted any overlaps in similar games and had individual conversations with us to see where we felt strongly before locking the final list.
QUALIFICATIONS: The game had to come out before December 31st, 2025. Console, PC, Mobile, Arcade, those handheld Tiger Electronics from the 90s, if we consider it a video game it counts.
FULL SPOILERS: Nothing is off limits. We are celebrating video games to their fullest degree.
NO TIES: We prioritized passion, so if there was a tie it went to the game that averaged highest on the personal lists.

Saw some haters in the live chat but I just wanna say midway through this vid, the Giantbomb section is one of my favourite parts of the production so far… You guys just haven't missed at all with the bits 🔥
Edit: ok you follow the giantbomb bit up with a Vaati but… What in God's name were y'all cooking with this production 😭😭😭🥹🥹🥹
im just over a quarter of the way through this, trying to catch up but every time the camera cuts to the shot of mike and andy, i lose it. mike always looks so happy to be on content and his costume just elevates it.
Watching on Spotify was so satisfying- no ads!
Oh my the pop for the Rizzler 😂
Ben Star is good but Nakeyjakey was the best so far so funny
Outer wilds being on the list made me smile so wide
For some reason I’m only seeing Tim as the dad from Fallout 3 😂
Loved the Giant Bomb cameo that was amazing lol.
Massive disrespect to P5R smh. GOAT easily
Yeah no bloodborne is the 2nd worst of the souls games IMO. Not touching my top 100. Not even close.
Honestly i'll never get bored of hearing stories of online in the 2000's man. For me it was the Call of Duty's MW, WAW and then finally going to MW2 midnight launch at Blockbuster with my mam at 14 years old. I wish we could go back because there was honestly nothing like it. Shout out Kinda Funny this has been absolutely fantastic so far and I hope it leads to more events in the future! I might make it over one day from the UK haha!
This is the fkn greatest
Lol yall gotta stay on beat on that podcast within a podcast ❤
Barrett, you absolutely nailed the B-roll during Dark Souls
I think i hate Roger lol
A+
Roger is the kind of anomaly statisticians remove from the results to prevent skewing the data.
Omg I was in the Bloodborne part of the video in Andy’s Twitch chat lol
I keep telling myself that being on the list at all is special since this particular process can result in what would seem like wonky placements in lists built through deliberation rather than voting…but man did it still sting seeing Metaphor, Bloodborne, Halo 2 and Persona 5 (almost back-to-back-to-back) so low on the list lol. The show's been great so far and I'm eager to see the final two days.
Tim looks so fucking cool. Like holy shit
This has been fantastic so far! Great production, and ao much positivity, which is rare in the gaming space these days! ❤
As someone who has worked in comms for very large brands – the level of production and media expertise on show here is exceptional. Yoy guys deserve every success you get. Thanks for being my parasocial idols!
Cyberpunk only being in the 90s is a crime
This is the greatest celebration of videogames I have ever been witness too. It doesn't even matter what's on the list or what order it is in anymore. The game on the list MEANS something to the KF member who ranks it, and all in different and beautiful ways. Tidus going through Yuna makes Tim cry 25 years later. Minecraft is a core memory for Roger. Greg doesn't need Peace Walker to be on the top 100, and he immortalizes his love for it in a tattoo. We all have different memories and associations with games, but we all share one thing: the LOVE for them. Thank you KF for being so relatable and sharing the joy with us!!
Outer Wilds <3
Love that.
OG MW over MW2 still for me
This production is amazing. You guys continue to out do yourselves time and time again. What a hell of a ride it has been following the journey.
P.s. Bloodborne is criminally low
This has been great tbh. Tim, why does your hair look so awesome this colour.
Hearing the gameovergreggy intro before ben starr took me back
The only part of these videos I've skipped so far is the trash takes from giant bomb.
Costumes were very well done by the boys – congrats KF
If either Assassin’s Creed 2 or Assassin’s Creed 4 are not on this list, you can throw the entire list into the garbage truck.
Heads Kinda Funny your 59th ranked game zelda wind waker came out in 2002 not 2000 but great job guys
Bloodborne should be top 10 ffs
To me Minecraft cemented itself as top game when after not being interested for years I picked it up at 35 years old and thought was absolutely amazing.
Was not expecting to see Hedy Burress, and The Rizzler, everyone is here like Smash Ultimate
Andy, don't worry I got the "Damn" reference after Greg said he was 43. Funny shit my guy!
HALO 2 Lets Goooo! THE GOAT
I know we’re not supposed to get mad but Bloodborne at 49 is criminal
I will be honest the Giant Bomb bit really went on way to long. It slowed things down a bit.
With how much the crew loves Zelda, its a shame that none of them have the same love for Okami which is a fucking beautiful game in every way a game can be.
