THERE SHOULD BE ZERO STORE ITEMS it ruins Emerson
No dual specs til 40? Can I level as resto shaman without pulling out my hair? Or will I be able to heal as ele? I remember trying to level as resto shaman as my first char in vanilla. It nearly made me want to quit. Got to 20 and rerolled warlock.
I need my goblin tinker though.
I hope that the emphasis on the player character being just one adventurer among thousands, and the promise that zones from expansions would be redone to fit with Forever, means that if they ever add new classes, they'll be on par with originals and not "heroic" classes like death knight or demon hunter.
I think with making respeccing so expensive you dont make Player decision meaningful, you make them follow meta builds, because You Only have one shot. I think making respeccing as easy as in Beta would rather lead to See much more random builds peolle try out. I get Blizzards Point, but in Times of meta lists it might Not work
As a healer, blizz ruined dungeons. Not even worth the time anymore
If they don't do summing stones, they better not add stupid crap like player housing or portals in capital cities later on.
What I dont understand: why does Blizzards obviously mainly Tests in Raids? Leveling is 200h, for many Players this will be the main thing they do, as many dont have time for the real endgame. I just cant understand why some specs were not Designed a Bit more Active in Leveling. I am Not talking about dmg or anything. Just making some specs a bit more tactical
I wanna play as a Murlock Priest LUL
If you want the world to feel big, take out flight paths. Flight paths make the world small. Flight paths make the world feel small. If they want the world to feel big, they should take out flight paths. But they won't, because travel would take too long and people would be upset by it. If the game had not implemented flight paths originally, it may be an option, but because it's what people are used to, they can't remove them now. And while I absolutely would enjoy a flight-pathless-world with bigger distances to make travel feel like more of a choice and less of a slight inconvenience, I completely understand – this is a game, and people don't have the time to be running for several minutes between each quest and even longer between zones. That being said, summoning stones are just like having a warlock on payroll at each dungeon, and do a lot less to "making the world smaller" than flight paths do. Blizzard has just decided that one option is less damaging than the other, despite the fact they are objectively wrong.
I'd personally prefer summoning stones to flight paths. Getting to a dungeon for a group is far more time important than being in an area to quest for a while. Although, a happy alternative is one-way carts. So you don't have a bunch of inter-connected flight paths, but there are a bunch of two-way, disconnected, travel-by-cart routes you can take that just move you at Epic mount speed. You can't control or jump out early, but it does give you that flight path "break" that people use to stretch, get food, etc.
I dont agree on the Frodo Part, it was so damn stupid. But what scares me was the power progression and soft reset part. There should be different ways to play, not always becoming stronger. Maybe a different ret set etc.. Also when i hear soft reset, it gives me cancer, damn devaluing the achievements and equip.
These clickbait titles and previews are getting outta hand
Modern wow races: Anything that isn't in any classic version, up to classic progression as MoP classic. Anything in that game is pretty normal in Warcraft universe.
Many newer races weren't in the Warcrft lore (in Warcraft III for example) before, or doesn't look like real races but a culture in humans, etc.
Dual spec should be at 20, let people switch to a tank / DPS / heal if it is needed for a dungeon. You dont loose anything by allowing it.
I don't understand the point about simple gameplay versus team oriented gameplay. Retail has complicated team oriented gameplay.
11:52 I took a bunch of identical dungeon quests from classic and forever. The forever xp was avg 3.2x of classic, then 2.1x after the 50% nerf. So still over double
I was really interested in this game when I thought it was Classic PLUS. I understood it to be the classic game and story, with retail conveniences and mechanics under the hood. I have since learned I was incorrect, it's just classic. I'm not interested in playing classic, especially not 'forever.' No summoning stones, no account bank, boring rotations and class design; the game isn't for me I guess. "Go back to retail' has been the battle cry every time I ask about these type of things, well, those people win I guess. I know I won't be missed, but maybe there's a couple other people out there with my same concerns, who knows.
I completely disagree. What your character looks like is extremely important to the world and purchased cosmetics ruin that entirely. when your appearance is tied to whether you swiped rather than what you've accomplished, the game world is ruined
The XP is alright. Back when I first play Wow on the initial Release, you had soo many quests left when you reached max level, especially 40+ quests.
Its just the people have to get used to the notion of playing (and learning) the full game and not just playing the endgame after one day.
Start buffing quest xp.
If people wont get shit done in 1h playtime you end up with a streamer and unemployed people server.
Best class update they ever made was in BWL phase of SoD.
When holy paladins healed their tanks by foing damage with holy spells, when they did aoe healing with consecration.
I was hoping we'd get that in classic +
Saldy they screwed all pvp specs
If dulspec is locked behind big gold ,im out.
Elemntal schaman DEAD!
Holy Reckoning DEAD!
Ret Reckoning DEAD!
Powershift Feral hybrid DEAD!
Frostmage ice lance spam REDICILOUS !
Warlock 38% dmg reduction
REDICILOUS !
I hope they fix this b4 or shortly after launch.
This could truly be 4 ever if they start respecting pvp. The game looks great
They have already said many times the game will have classic roots, HOWEVER that does not mean it wont have retail QOL and systems at some point. It kind of already does with some of the talents and legacy talents etc. I am fine with that. Its going to be about a balance while still embracing the classic world.
If they add classes/races il quit and go back to vanilla we dont need that BS
great vid as always!!!!
Please pleeease! Let me disable these cosmetic things with my SD toggle. I am not interested in seeing a Rexxar cosplayer running around. Make a hunter. Get the new tier set and make your own Rexxar outfit.
