Another simple question that needs an hour-long video to answer. We’re gonna be looking through an entire 16 years of games and media, with some of the most obscure, unknown and straight up bizarre zombies, so get ready. This is (at long last) ‘How Many Zombies are there in PVZ?’

Big shoutout to the PVZ wiki for being the main source used for this video! (use the wiki.gg, NOT the fandom)
This video documentary covers the zombies from literally all of the PVZ games, including- PVZ1, PVZ2 (PVZ 2), PVZ3 (PVZ 3), Garden Warfare (PVZGW), Garden Warfare 2 (PVZ GW2), PVZ Heroes, Battle for Neighborville (PVZ BFN), PVZ2C/ 2C (Chinese PVZ2), PVZ mini programs (from China) and many, many more. Plus other media such as the comics.

Have a happy Halloween koalians, hope you like this one!! Also hype hype hype
Bro forgot about the Space Cadet token from PVZH and the Bungee Plumber, Secret Agent, (It's a trick but by common sense it should be a zombie). I'd also argue that the Mystery egg IS a zombie, it's flavour text and function implies that it's a Zombie egg that hatches into zombies, if Seeds are counted as plants then the Egg should be a zombie.
HYPE!
saying that the two singer zombies were the only two zombies based off of real people right after the Cleopatra zombie is insane. I get that you meant people alive for the release of the games, but I'm pretty sure Cleopatra was a real person.
To be honest, my initial thought about the video was that it was going to be a detailed description of every single zombie that appeared throughout gameplay in plants vs zombies
No renegade imp. Im ashamed of you.

Take note of this cuz it'll mess with your head:
The Roman Zombiseum Zombot has been used twice since its introduction and we've had 5 LTEs since then (it was introduced in the second TRZ event which was back in 2021)
The Backyard Big Top Zombot has been used three times in the span of 7 LTEs (BBT Act 1 and BBT Act 2 back in 2020 and the BBT Extravaganza from 2021)
Quite mind boggling isn't it?

Man I miss the old Almanac layout
But at least then with the new one I can just scroll down and see what entries I'm missing by the empty card slots…
Still angers me how the BBT Zombot and TRZ Zombot have been so underutilized since they've been introduced
I feel like common sense for what a zombie or plant is well complicated should really be based soley on game function is it a enemy character (in most cases that works for the zombies) you would call that a zombie I know that you have far far more hours in plants vs zombies but I think I would count a lot more of the robots and use similar rules based on game function as a zombie feels like this games class of enemy (I have mostly just played a bunch of mods and watched content for pvz2 but I am someone who wants to major in computer science) other wise its a verry entraining video I love a good yap vid to play in the background
In PVZ heroes, im not sure if you counted the Space Cadet Zombie created by the Beam me Up trick. You mentioned there were some trick exceptions, however you weren’t clear on whether the Space Cadet counted as a new zombie.
1:15 predator MJ joke in the big 2026

PvZ2 DOES count the Ducky Tube zombies separately regardless of the fact there's no flag variant and in PvZ2N there's the unused Ducky Tube Brickhead while in PvZ2C the Brickhead variant is completely designed differently compared to PvZ2N
Dear Koala,
I am a parrot in a tank. I have a problem with the fact you have not covered fan games.
The title either refers to all of pvz or just the first pvz.
But because you have covered more than the original therefore you refer to all of pvz.
Also, what about the ambush zombies in pool.
Regards from Parrot.
15:43 oh so the garden warfare plants are different and not the zombie okay
45:53 Triggered sound effect
(This is a joke)
imagine if michael jackson didn’t die in 2009 and continued to live decades longer. imagine seeing the MJ boss zombie moonwalk up to you in GW

Don’t play about MJ yo
There are a ton of comic zombies that could be brought up. Like the Anti-Bully Squad, Big Trouble, the Cranium Cravers, Frogpants + Nigel Blimpbottom (who are part of a group with Tugboat), Zombie Dogs (they aren't robots), and so many more.
I can't believe there is 🔢 Zombies
