Finally, someone calling out ziggs. Thank you meteos. I do not understand why teams keep picking him. Like its just not performing.
"Do nothing and lose" is what we are best at.
I just wish LYON could see that they play to the level of their opponents in early games. Even in LCS except when inspired was gone. DIG DSG had "close" early games against LYON. This team just might be one of the best team fighting team in the world. And their clutch factor with these players is crazy. Isles flashing onto a Cait trap to polymorph a Caitlin so Dhokla can Gnar them and win. Saint flash shove on 2 in a ryze ult. They got their own magic. They gotta believe in it and understand they are always in it. Back at MSI the catch onto Zeka Yone down 8k gold into fight win into comeback. This team has magic. Believe in it LYON!!!!
I truly believe people under rated LOS. They were not the worst team here like Brazil can be normally. They had 1 bad game out of 5 different game/series and it was against T1 they got rolled. People seem to forget LOS vs G2…. was LOS was in winning spots all game and they had a really split bad fight that G2 won and ended the game. LOS were actually a good team like alot of teams were saying. They kinda destroyed TSW. The TL series was strong and the LYON one. I truly think LOS could of beaten MKOI or maybe even KC. Unlucky they drew LYON…. LOS players and fans should be so proud of that team man. As an NA fan all I saw was an insane team that surprised me.. not NA being bad losing to a bad team
I'm definitely feeling like LYON is in a Fleetwood mac situation at this point. It feels so clear that at least part of the team hate each other (we'll never see Saint and inspired on the same team after this) but they're holding it together on the slim chance they somehow make a deep worlds run
Complete shot in the dark, but calling it now
After this performance, America's cup is gonna decided who gets the 3rd America spot, Brazil or NA
I’m just so happy seeing I will dominate fail. Such a disgusting loser
help us imports please… our region is so bad, that we cant have a decent team with fewer than 3 imported players..
The fact that everyone is simping over NA and then you realize, only 2 players!! in TOTAL from TWO of the NA teams, meaning 2 out of 10 players, are actually from NA…
Kind of lame to have to buy and rely outside help to even get to and through swiss stage..
No point in being so "LET'S GO NA" by then.. it's embarrasing to say the least..
The only team that DIDN'T get qualified, was the team that actually has a majority of (3x) NA players on the team… Think about that for a moment…
Why does no one talk about the fact Los, TL, and nearly G2's Skemond putting out a generational performance would've had them beat 3 #1 seeds. Los was that good, and it does feel like we are still saying the teams that are super good like G2 and TL performed poorly. Sure they did, but Los was a genuinely good team if you look at their actual history this tournament and evaluate it properly. Lyon was competitive vs Ig and Gen.g, TL was cheesed and nearly still won the game vs CFO. G2 nearly beat DK, nearly lost agaisnt Los, and then mental boomed believing Los was lesser than was factually true.
Haha can you imagine them actually reporting quid for Inting after the game.😂😂😂
I'm watching DK and IG closely. I was dooming DK when it was just Showmaker 1v9 but I think the squad has woken up a bit. Also been stoked since seeing IG playing like IG against HLE
Anyone else wondering how they determined the schedule for the next round everyone gets 2 or 3 days of prep before their next game, EXCEPT the winner of T1/KC they only get 1 day
Dark horse to win it all. Have to go with Lyon. Although I want the fan fiction of KC winning the trophy all the way from play ins (and saving SOME face for c9 😅).
Favorites has to be T1. Even if on paper it's probably one of the other eastern teams.
My COSTUME was dressed as team rocket with my wife + our 2 yo Pikachu.
Much love to the dive and everyone here for it ❤
LYON DRAFTS HAVE BEEN TERRIBLE
Is Kobe dressed as the Dread Pirate Robert’s?!
NA fan here from EU, when is C9 & TL going to play in Quarter? Lyon is good but spending 1.5 hrs talking about them? xD
lyon will get 0-3'd. break out the champagne if they take 1 game.
they need to talk more to these god awful coachs putting them in impossible games.
Yo. When we said 'cat for kobe' – NOONE was thinking the cat would be Sjokz enjoying some 'soda'. 😂
Hour long cope session
Maybe I'm a moron, but for Yone mid, why not go Lethal Tempo and rush vamp scepter/berserker's greaves and THEN build Shieldbow as your first completed item. Seems like it would be a good compromise to get through lane well enough without as significant of a delay in your item spikes
I think you can also see the progression of players nerves during a series too. The first two games of C9 vs KC, you can tell C9 was playing as if it's another day in the LCS, but each game after that got progressively worse. Conversely, KC started off pretty awful, but they progressively started to play much better and now they're playing the best out of all LEC teams
Its such a mental game, which is why almost every worlds (but especially this one), it's so tough to say who would show up on the day. Also a very good reason I would never put money on any worlds games 😂
I have to say Azaels summary on how and why this worlds is hard is a reason why i normally dont listen these/this podcasts.
There is a handful of players, kinda hustlers Isles, that is really vocal about stress and now we open a case about worlds is really stressful?
This is not an attack on Azael or somebody else, i ubderstand their bias clearly, and still i would like to criticize it.
This worlds is more normal than not normal, besides the China first seed disaster.
We have one Eu, one Na team in Too 8 with 6 Asian teams. With another draft we could have had even only Asian teams ib Top 8.
We cant ignore that G2 had a hard draw and therefore just lost. Sure they had a great performance this year, but its worlds. One bad week of prep, one bad day of momentum can bring down your tournament. G2 won against the team they had to win and lost against the teams they are expected to lose. Than, that one chinese Team drops the ball is even nornal as well at worlds.
Besides the upsets on day 1, an not that much experienced Chinese first seed disaster, and a strong brasilian region that clearly catched up to NA nothing weird happened regarding the results.
We can now sit here and build some cases for “stress” or whatever, but this is worlds. Orc it is stressful. But the reality is, NA didnt lose or had a hard time against brasil because of stress, but because of skill diff. Same goes for G2 and for AL, thats it.
As always has been.
And btw no hate to Isles. Young person on a big stage. Anyone would be stressed. Its really good he is vocal about it, but its not the reason to build a case of “worlds is as stressful as it ever was”.
argh m8y
Meteos: it sucks as a player, I still have people bringing up the 60 minute Lee Sin daily, 10 years later.
Also Meteos: Constantly criticize players
I actually do think APA would have done better for TL than quid this tournament. I don't think quid will be it for 2027 for TL
18:17 i think ziggs can be pretty good in the right hands, like if there was a player known for playing him or something
Also, i havent counted but im pretty sure lyon has played more stage games than any other team so far. Hopefully that helps them
Quid just can't compete on international tournaments period! TL should really replace him. APA would have done better IMO.
El Santo is my GOAT
Canyon's Jayce game vs Lyon in swiss was terrifying. He was hitting every single shock blast, and he was finding really creative angles to have them coming out of fog. We really couldn't even fight because before every potential confrontation either mid or AD was chunked to half. I wouldn't mind if we just used a ban to keep that one off the table, or have Inspired pick it in game 1 just to remove it.
As a jungle main getting put on a vegan jungler like sej, maokai etc in a g3 or g5 with the tournament on the line is my nightmare
Who tf cares what Azael thinks
He always thinks NA will do better every year but they never did . So if he thinks t1 ain't winning then it's blessing in disguise
Dhokla plays GP. It would be cinema to see him whip that out and get up 1.5k gold in lane. I really feel like we need a couple of curve balls to take out GenG. I think back to the Inspired Nunu game, stuff like that. Plz don't actually play Nunu though.
Peak Lyon lets gooo 🙏🏾✨️
