Charlie. Queens domain is a new indie that slaps. It’s a “kingslike” aka is inspired by the kings field games which were the games fromsoft made before souls games. It’s almost like a retro first person metroidvania with elements of other games mixed in. The exploration is awesome, so many secrets, illusory walls, areas and items you can just miss if you don’t explore, and very interconnected. Similar to dark souls 1 (the first half) in area design but could also basically be a Metroidvania as you will unlock new abilities that allow you to go back to areas you’ve been before but discover new things. Please play this game.
the online mode is an absolutely crazy addition y'all. i've run into SO many people treating this dead serious like an actual fighting game, it warms my heart even though i get bodied sometimes. Mfs are performing juggles that child me wouldn't have even fathomed back in 2006
This was the first game in a long while I got the deluxe edition for because I really want a Save the Earth remaster too- especially if they bring back Biollante
