  1. Z probably won’t see this but found em during the hay pile craze and I’ve been loving their videos the automation their voice the video style like yesss!! Definitely going to be a staple watch moving forward

  2. just an question why did you Merge the Sand from 2 lanes into 1 just to splitt it in 2 outputts again you could just use the first merge from 2 chambers and direct it straigt in 1 press instead of going 4 lanes into 2 lanes into 1 lane into 2 lanes

  3. you can probably chain solar panels in a line around the moon so there's always half of them hit by the sun.
that's what i did in Dyson Sphere Program

  4. Is the thought that you would build a structure to put all of the production on? At the very least, they're expecting some verticality on those belts.

  5. Something I just found out by accident.. on controller, when you're on the map, Dpad down turns off the hexagon lines on the ground. Not sure why you'd want to 😂 but there must be a way on keyboard too.

  6. Instead of merging everything into 1 line and having it back up so much. Why not spread stuff out more to reduce the backlog ? After all the station seems to have nearly a dozen inputs.

  7. You've probably figured this out by now, but the solar panels have batteries. So if you add an extra panel, you'll have enough battery once their full to last you the night.

  8. Games are getting stranger and stranger. But Hover Bovver on the Commodore 64 from Jeff Minter well lol nothing is new but dusting off the moon. What is next cleaning up the universe?

  9. If your belts are getting full, as they are in the original production line, then you can feed at least one more machine off that belt.
Also, the second production line you were trying to set up as compact as possible ended up significantly more sprawling than it needed to; there was no need to merge all the sand production onto a single belt before splitting it again, you could run the line straight from a row of splitters (you did your math wrong) into the stone presses and save a bunch of space not needing to merge, flip, and then split the belt Not cramming everything onto a single belt also fixes the belt speed issue.

  10. Z. for the canisters on the ground, u can "store" them in a brush. pull out ur lg brush (or any) and press E to collect. if u want to drop the dust, press Q to convert it back into a canister or drop it off inside like the past

  11. Im pretty sure the math for production ratios is off so just leaving this comment here. I could be wrong since i havent played myself but this is something i noticed.

1 Pressure chamber does 5 kg dust to 5 kg sand every 12 seconds.

Multiply by 5 gets you to a minute.

Making 1 chamber do 25kg/min sand conversion

stone press does 1 of each and make 2 kg stone every 6 seconds.

Multiply by 10 gets you to a minute.

Making stonepress input: 10 kg/min dust

    10 kg/min sand

    output: 20 kg/min stone

Making the ratio of the pressure chamber to stonepress about 2,5 stonepresses for each pressure chamber.

so in your case having 4 pressure chambers means to put down 10 stonepresses to use up all the sand they produce.

    hope this helps.

  12. Gotta wonder if you'd get longer day cycles if your solar panels were built at the tops of the mountains where the days are long rather than deep down in the valleys where the days are short.
