I made Runescape’s hardest content even harder (again)

Limited Edition OSRS PC, Keyboard, Wallart, Mousepad and Case at #ad

Welcome to Unguided, where I’m trying to complete every quest in old school runescape without using a guide, wiki or plugins. I’ll only be using my limited knowledge and in-game learnings. Full rules below.

Watch the full Unguided series here:

RULES
– No use of OSRS wiki (or any equivalent) for anything – this includes looking up item spawns, quest guides, boss guides, anything
– No use of any other quest helper sites
– No use of quest helper plugin
– Essentially no use of any outside-game assistance

CAVEATS
– I love OSRS YouTube, I might inadvertently learn something I don’t know by watching my favourite content creators, but I’m not going to stop watching them so that’s just a risk I’m willing to take + it’s unlikely going to be relevant for me
– I may use some QoL plugins, but only a few. Loot tracker to prove grinds, ground items so I don’t miss drops (and to add cool loot beams lol) and left click to use bones. Nothing that will give me info I didn’t previously have
– I’m going to try and avoid any spoiler comments. If you can, please try not to help me if there’s an episode where I’m stuck on something. I appreciate the sentiment but telling me an item spawn or quest step could spoil the fun 🙂

  1. What I love most about this series is his ability to instantly figure out the hardest mechanics but completely blank on the simple stuff because he over thinks it, makes for hours of solid content

  2. I struggled a lot with my first entry mode, albeit at a much lower level, but you really do crack me up. Does make me worry you're more special that you've let on so far though. Normal fire staff and not using protection prayers in a raid is a novel concept, not sure it'll catch on though

  3. Ok, idk why everyone i see on akkha that fights him blind has no idea that you can only attack him or his shadows when they aren't ghostly. Like it's SO OBVIOUS xD.

  4. The speed at which you pick up on things is genuinely impressive! The dev team has done a great job at making things somewhat intuitive in recent years, but it still takes a keen eye and quick mind to catch the little signs and process what they mean. I hope you go back and try more ToA in the future, it's a great time!

  5. Honestly….I have never touched raids….but watching you stumble through…makes me feel a lot better about my chances. I know how different it is 'in the moment' versus 'watching'….but boy, seeing a mechanic, understanding it quickly, and then watching you balls it up takes a load off how badly I feel like I do. If nothing else, thank you so much for that.
Honestly, watching you do ToA…makes me feel like I could probably manage it. It might suck a bit, might be hard, but honestly, I think it didn't look too bad.

  6. "theres an attack that hits me automatically that i cant dodge, idk what to do!" my mans never heard of prayer before. 😛
    The monkey room is the WORST room in ToA. I always waste food before the boss =_=;

  7. He's quite obviously seen other people do the raid, he openly admits to watching runescape videos and streams, he's now roleplaying and pretending that he doesn't know what mechanics are and then pretending to 'figure' them out. Pretty lame and a massive fall from what the series was originally meant to be. Sadly that'll be the end of me watching this charade.

  8. Understand being guideless but it's like my guy never played any other games at all and can't take clues that is being presented on how to deal with mechanics. Props to him though for trying blind
