  1. Just download a build guide and play like normal people. Making your own build and having fun is for newbs, who take 30 sec to kill the arbiter of divinity.

  2. В таких играх уже пара делать разработчикам несколько билдов на выбор в самой игре, актуальных в этом сезоне (для новичков). Или с прошлых, но не слишком старых. В Hearthstone наконец-то додумались так сделать (благодарочка им от всего сердца).

  3. Oh my gosh, they are so exaggerating, there's no a way that such a skill tree exists, I'll check it out !
    /checking it
    Holy crap !!!

  4. To be fair, the system itself in both PoE 1 and PoE 2 isn't actually that complicated. The issue people often seem to have is the fact that it's a system based on open decision making, and the growing training games have been pushing on gamers over the decades is more about strict carefully laballed and directed boxes and leading the player along them.

Want to be ranged? There's a isolated "Ranged Guy" path.

Want to do Magic? There's a isolated "Magic Guy" path.

Want to do Stealth? You got it, "Stealth Guy" path.

You don't need to think, or design anything. You just click or grind down the segmented pathes and pick the next step that you think sounds cool.

So when you instead present the player with a open system and go "Here's a point to spend, spend it where you want to shape a character that can be a blend of anything you wish"…. the player hasn't really been conditioned or trained for that anymore. It's a complete mental dissonance from what decades of games have established for them.

And that can be extremely unsettling to be faced with something isn't warm, familiar and comforting after you've been conditioned for so long to always expect that clear isolated clear directed approach before you even get started.

  5. I fell completely in love with this system in FFX and I loved it even more in POE 1 and soon as the 2 goes free I will probably get on it for a while too (If I've finished my new PT from Valheim 1.0 by then ^^)
