To be honest there’s so much vaulted content in d2, I believe they’ll unvault it chunks. Cuz it’ll give them time to clean things up, weather it’s code, graphics, or taking it into the new engine. Plus that way you play through the unvaulted content as they work on the next chunk dlc and maybe stretch it out for a year or two. Maybe near the end of unvaulting everything they will drop the d3 bombshell that was cooking behind the scenes with a small team

13:35 is so true, they made everything so easy to get now and all these hard activities you get jack shit for it, comp use to be so fun and hard to grind for a really good weapons which was fun, trials use to be sooo fun to grind and get certain weapons then now it’s all easy access to new lights like what? And even pve activities, everything is just handed to you and once it is then the shi went down hill
I think they should unvault the content gradually as they work on it. You can call it drip feed. I say don't drop it all at once. First it would take more time to prepare it, second you're gonna keep the numbers up, third I don't have so much time to play it all. I need time of off Destiny. That's why I actually like Monument of triumph more than seasonal content – No FOMO.

Dude Bungie should just leave D2 alone as it is and just put everything into D3. I don’t want unvaulted content. I want to hear about the future plans, story, gameplay, characters, etc.

My DCV wishlist:
1. Expansion rollout- potentially more focus on each campaign at a time, less drought between stuff, and builds hype for each campaign
2. Customizable title screen/music to let us kinda "play in an era" i really want the hopeful white screen with full inner light
3. Strike variants- just like in D1 with two versions and such, give us a "past" and "present" version of reworked strikes. I miss our old narrations and layouts too (flame turrets) ☹️
4. KEEP ADVENTURES IN THE GAME- they were key to the story and gave depth and purpose to the world
5. Some lighting changes/rollbacks- Sunrise really showed us that some destinations really were prettier and had cooler color pallettes. LESS FOG 😩
6. Legendary campaign?🤨

fix the new player onboarding, fuck the rest of the un-vaulting. it's not going to change anything major and not going to be played long term. focus on making the current content replay able and worth farming, and give us one huge ass big last NEW DLC for 5$ or less so the devs still get paid. and then focus on a totally new destiny IP (cause marathon ain't it rn) to bring back everyone.
I do NOT want the next game to be a prequel. I don't want a narrative regression I want the FUTURE of Destiny. If we have a new guardian I want to see the legacy of OUR Guardian reflected in the worl building.
Cross I definitely love your opinions and thoughts on things and I feel like you spot on however what I think most of the community as well as the major content creators are missing is right in front of us
1. It's going to take time for bungee to restore its ranks and what we don't know is how many people have done to be bringing back from those that let go as I would assume many would not want to come back they have trust issues just like to communities someone may have moved on some may have made it to vesting in cashed out how many people will be moved over from Marathon or other Sony Studios etc etc etc
2. Cross you did finally mention it in this video however all the videos prior to this as I mentioned in the comments you just didn't catch on and you finally did mention it this is probably going to be a 2-year process to basically bring 4 years worth of content back in to current game system standards if we're lucky we'll start with Year One and basically drop a year every 6 months as a 24-month timeline I think that's aggressive and I think the clock doesn't start till January because they're using now through the end of the year to respool up

I would honestly love to see Destiny (which includes everything and future updates aswell). I never understood why they made destiny 2 except just to make money (which is completely fine). However, I feel if they made this massive MMO style game just destiny which has EVERYTHING, they would finally live up to their promise of what the game would be, back in 2013 😊
