I don’t mind delayed attacks as long as they are smooth and precise (also fake outs aren’t bad as long as the tell is appropriate) valor mortis did that well. But blinding attacks like PCR are trash
Also SSI from sekiro as you mentioned as your king(agree) but he does delayed attacks.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers had a cool weapon system where you upgraded the weapon type instead of the specific weapons.
It mad it so you didn't stress over where to use upgrade items.
