This game looks so much better without assists being spammed all the time all over the place.
Tokon is fun to watch but the only thing I feel is missing is that characters don't have their own life bars. I know it's not capcom but that's still a good idea that they did. That would make it a true 4v4 game and then you could save a character by tagging in your assist.

My one issue with Cyclops is entirely a skill issue on my part. It’s that he can extend his combos so easily that I forget to call my assists to reduce the combo gauge. Same issue I’ve had with Black Panther, and not a real issue. I just gotta figure out routing.
Had mixed feelings but now that I bought the pass for season 1 he's starting to grow on me using him and mrs. Marvel as a team has been a lot of fun ❤❤
I like the opponent skin here 20:55 looks like a combination of Onslaught and Phoenix Force Cyclops.

Did they change some of Doom's effects? I swear they look different.
Maybe I am too old but it's not super appealing as a casual Fighting Game fan that I might as well put the controller down when someone is doing a 30+ hit combo on me. It's like I am only playing the game 40% of the time, the rest is being juggled like a circus freak.
I don't know if I'd go that far, Capcom's version of Cyclops will always be my favorite, but this character is without a doubt my second favorite in the game as I suspected he'd be, btw, there are already two awesome mods for Cyclops, one gives his classic costume MvC colors and the other gives him a jacket, really worth downloading, it looks great.

Classic Cyclops costume makes it feels so much better to play.

Something I noticed is that it's actually quite difficult to enter Phoenix state since the back and forth of landing hits often ends the round~
Plus the fact that the Phoenix meter rounds down after every round just makes it even harder.
The only real way to get to it is really integrating optic blast into your combos purposefully.
I get the feeling Arcsys is gonna tweak that a bit in some patch~
