========= Historic Fact ==========
Berserkers were fearsome Norse warriors famed for their ferocity in battle. Old Norse accounts link them to Odin and describe them entering a frenzied state known as berserksgangr, fighting with extraordinary fury. Legend has it that during the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066, a lone Viking warrior held the bridge against the English army and killed numerous soldiers before being struck from below by a spear. His death allowed the English to advance and ultimately defeat Harald Hardrada’s army, in a battle often seen as marking the end of the Viking Age in England.

I don’t know how to explain it as a Sabaton fan who’s looked into the subject, but after listening to it a few times, I think ‘too frantic’ is the right way to describe the composition.🤔
I think the description – or rather, the aim – for this song, given its theme, should have been more along the lines of ‘psychotic frenzy’ (in the sense of the recent PCP police reports).

Not going to be played deliberately by me, and nobody else need agree. I really don’t like the Pat a Pan drum drowning Joakim’s voice for me. Celebration of a psycho invader isn’t my cup of mead either. I think I’ll stick to The Last Stand, Templars, and Winged Hussars for which I thank Sabaton frequently and recommend!
