10:18 – The major difference is persona 5 having handcrafted dungeons instead of generic procedurally generated ones. That makes it have the best gameplay IMO.

Also, P5 has become a lethal joke among other gatchas, to the point of when Persona on Frontline was announced for an August to September 2026 slot for events in Nikke, people thought that the gaem will be ending before the 5th anniversary next year. Considering that representation of each of the last three games based on which version was out didn't occur to most, it for got to think that the the playable reps actually have great reasons to be there and the story for the event feels like actual bleed though of both worlds. Sadly as it was a crossover event, it can't be reached in the event archives.

This is the series that got me into SMT.Being the impressionable Edge lord wanna be goth I was at the time I picked up P2:eternal punishment cause of Kazuma Kaneko's brooding art design and finally an RPG that was set in modern times.With its adult cast,"mature" themes and a lead character that uses a gun .I kept touting it as a cooler version of monster catching than Pokemon. It made more sense to me that you have to make deals with devils to get their aid and the tarot card design mechanic was infinitly cooler than poke-balls to me and I reasoned it made more sense to carry a deck of tarot cards with monsters in them than poke-balls.

Excitedly ra, uh, walked in, looking to spend my life savings on sweet sweet Persona related goods… Only to find nothing. They tell me "We haven't gotten anything for it." …Ok. Cool. I'm patient. Came back next week. Still nothing. Next week. Still nothing. This week. "We're not getting anything for it." ….I've decided not to frequent that store anymore.
