You should try some of the warhammer games, they are feckin hard

Snam if you're liking XCOM you would do well to check out MENACE.
The biggest problems I see is not using full cover, dashing instead of half movements, and not destroying cover for allies to have better aim.

Bro next time you play alien will you mod it to have 3 aliens? I saw a video of someone doing it and it looked sick.
Very difficult to watch this when I’m used to an experienced streamer playing a hyper modded version but I believe in you, Snam!
If you need inspiration for quality of life mods, check out the playthroughs from ChristopherOdd. He goes way beyond simple QoL but if/when you switch to PC you could browse his mod lists and grab anything that looks helpful.
I’m pitching aliens fireteam elite 1 cuz it was so annoying or afe 2 but that ones pretty easy
When in the menu you can pull up details to see why they have certain % to hit. It's the left thumb stick while aiming at them.

First and only thing you need to know: everything under 50% means it wont work. Anything over 90% basicaly still means 50:50.

You should give Aliens: Dark Descent a try. of course do it blind on the HARDEST difficulty!
