Take an Xbox copy of the game, do the AI hack thing they did with Playstation jailbreaking and they could sell that shit for £50. I'd buy it if it worked well. And they'd sell 10,000s of copies.
I see them releasing pc version first. Then I think a month. Maybe 2, they'll release online. This is so pc players who didn't play it on console have the opportunity to really dive deep into the story.

Also worth mentioning that the architecture for consoles these days are much closer to PCs, making ports easier than the xbox360/PS3 generation was.
-I was betting within 6 months of console release we'd get PC and Online together. Number 1 reason IMO was the DOA RDR online delivery. Came so long after launch that nobody cared. Yes it was barebones but it was also way past the hype phase for people to give up their time in GTA online to jump over. Number 2 reason, with the current gaming market and economy, people aren't gonna be buying a $100 game twice. I think Rockstar knows that their biggest money maker is shark cards. If they can get more players into GTA online earlier than a year or two after console launch then they'll make out better than if they tried to milk gamers into buying twice.
-I don't get why people care or are worried with the weapon wheel. It's just a UI factor. You'll get used it if you don't like it once you play with it.
-NOBODY does marketing like Rockstar. I'd honestly use their techniques and hype train style in marketing classes if I was a professor.
Its amazing how the marketing team just keep knocking it out of the ball park when really the game has already sold itself.
If this game doesnt completely change the industry, at this point, this will be the last game I will be excited for…. still not pre ordered a copy though 🫣🤫

Just realized all my gta 5 knowledge will become completely useless. i know the gta 5 map better than my own city. if someone gave me a pic of a location in gta 5 i would most likely be able to pin point exactly where, like the geoguessr thing for gta 5. first played gta 5 when i was 9 and now im 21, thats like 10 years. we have been waiting for sooo long for this and its unreal its only a few weeks out

As you said GTA RP has become one of the major content forms for their game to the point that they bought FiveM. They probably realized how much money was being left on the table by letting players go outside their version of GTAV and are planning to capitalize on that. Only logical way to do that is to have the PC market ready alongside GTA online.

Hate to say it but it looks like it's running on the GTA5 enhanced engine built from the ground up at least so it won't be using old textures and buildings from 2013. But we do know it runs decent on PS5 so this might run smooth on a OG PS5.
