The problem with Mega Sceptile is that he’s so reliant on good fast discharge spammers being available to boost him, and Sceptile is too fast to take advantage of the boosts he can get from them
Rotom is cool but being locked into a choice scarf really hurts his usefulness a lot of the time. Sceptile needs a discharge spammer that has at least 145 base speed and is actually useful outside of discharge
Wild that the mega gar-z went for draco into sceptile when they were at 17%
Mega Sceptile does better with a Modest nature in the current meta in my opinion, Dragapult and Scarfed Basculegion are the only useful Pokemon Timid lets you outspeed. Outside of them it’s either never used Megas or mons Sceptile can’t do much against anyways
But the addition power with Modest actually helps quite a bit and makes him less reliant on Rotom and gives him that extra knock out power he desperately needs

its hard for lucario z to live close combat, its around 30% chance to survive (with 19 HP investment) the hit since its max atk, atk nature and 120 move while supereffective, aura guard barely helps here

I love the tournaments. Honestly is way more interesting than the pokemon champions ladder where everyone uses good stuff teams and they're lowkey braindead
Ceptile was the pokemon I first beat the champ with as a kid. Never really cared about meta and didn't even understand how types worked and stuff, but I love seeing you use them. Brings back memories ^^

Hi Wolfey, i was gonna ask a question about a sunroom team i made and how i should play it if you could help, Mega Charizard Y, Venasaur, Torkoal, Farigiraf, Incineroar, and Garchomp. I am kinda new to competitive and i was just asking, if anyone else could help i would really appreciate it

Bruh, regular sceptile appeared more and was more useful overall than mega sceptile
