I've been watching your hearthstone videos recently while going back to play it myself, so this is a pleasant surprise. The new expansion is insane. I'd love to see more! Also I'd recommend Azalina Soulsever. Very fun card, I've played like… a hundred matches with that deck in the past month or so…

Jokes aside, your HS videos are some of my dearest memories for how much stupid fun they were. I agree with how much coming back to the game frontloads you with informations lol, but I've been having a lot of fun so far with the weird random combos you can whip out in this game. I'd love to see some more gameplay from you! 🙂

I stopped in 2022 with HS but got back recently (in the Violet Hold Expack), I was very overstimulated but I love the og music (you currently cant hear it because they newest expack is out and makes it Halloween themed as well).
I am glad I knew SOME of the things bc back in 2022 we already had some very Wild Cards (pun intended).
So yeah…. I kind of want to stop playing it again but at the same time I dont really mind going back into it, I will play until I get anoyed by the greed of Blizzard (again). 😂

I stopped playing hearthstone at like the 3rd expansion, didn't touch it again till last year. I was even more lost than you were but I'm having a pretty good time with it.
I highly suggest you try the battlegrounds mode if you haven't. It's got a harsh learning curve but it's really fun.
The reason why they drew through their entire deck is due to the Prison of Yogg-Saron choosing to cast the spell "Chaos Creation" which dealt 6 damage, summoned a random 6-drop, and milled them for 6 (destroying the rest of their deck in the process).

I like that some of the biggest initial confusion in-game was seeing assembled minions, since part of the point of those is that they're too crazy to be actual cards a lot of the time.
Genuinely loved seeing you play this again, you manage to make this game almost make sense
