11:41 New Game Plus is the only reason I went back and 100% Avowed. When I first played it it had no replay value to me. New Game Plus brought me back.

Appreciate a celebration of the good trends in gaming, been a rough year! New Game Plus is such a great way to keep enjoying a game. Ghost of Yotei has a great NG+, and, for those of us that love Starfield, the NG+ for that game is wild.

I love open world games. Yeah some end up sucking. but most of them are great. I rarely buy linear games. Maybe its because I have alot of spare time. but i much prefer being able to put hundreds upon hundreds of hours into a game.
Something that I've particularly noticed in Lego games, that this video really brings up, is an apparent tendency for certain aspects of games to be perfected then completely discarded. Lego Indiana Jones 2: a level and even campaign creator. Nothing after. Lego DC Supervillains: the flat-out best character creation system. Every major Lego game since: no custom characters. Likewise some game I only heard about perfected fire physics, things burning across areas for use for puzzles, and it basically vanished for years until Breath of the Wild. And of course the Red Faction everything destructible thing into Guerrilla with the best building demolition that then vanished, even from Red Faction as a series.

Sony and their attitude toward the people who have helped build that Brand from day one they can go straight to you know where. This is put a line in the Sand and I am out as a Sony owner moving forward I will be saving my pennies to buy a really nice gaming PC
