Youtube’s Best Escape Room GETS CREEPY FAST!

I made an unnecessarily complicated Pokemon Escape Room game in google slides for my 3 friends! I found a very believable post on Craigslist for a couple of jobs at this place called Magmarty Supremes? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of this place, but it’s worth a shot…right?

As usual, new videos every Wednesday! #pokemon #pokemoncommunity #escaperoom #puzzle

This entire video was so good, I'm only disappointed that this clip's title didn't come into play.
I immediately noticed it being called "shesrunningoutoftime.mp4" and since this played when the power went out, I thought "she" was the person frozen in the ice and "she" was frozen to be kept alive and that's why she is running out of time with the ice melting.

I PRAY you do something like this again in the future, but without telling your players, give Chris editing access to the slide and have him see your screen and hear you guys through some other streaming programm than discord.
Then, Chris will actively edit stuff and record short clips as you go and put them in to make this as creepy as possible, like the one clip where he congratulates Cush on solving a puzzle.

  2. Zane… at a certain point it might be easier to actually learn to code and make those early 2000s escape room games than to use google slides, I mean, it's impressive and a little frightening you managed to do it without, but still.. my god. Either way, I enjoyed the pokemon/horror escape room. A fun listen whilst I do work.

  3. 2:17 the closeups, the old-timey tape (one of the most recognizable analog horror characteristics), the slow prosody, the unsettling tone of voice, the cultivated image of the slightly weird employee… production values are so good here, folks, we're in for a treat.
13:28 watching Cush solve the puzzle was genuinely entertaining, we need to make these guys play more puzzle games.

  4. The ID-code seems like an impressive amount of work but I hope that Zane didnt do 1000 actual slides but only one for correct input and one for incorrect input for each stage – would be only about 7 slides (including the starting one)

    correct correct clear
    start – – –
    wrong wrong wrong

  5. Right as they went into the food storage and noticed that the ice had melted and were saying about a person frozen in the ice, I got an ad for a job search website that said "Get interview tips and breaks the ice with ease." I have never been more unsettled… Until the video continued and there was another of Slick's videos played XD

  6. It took me TOO long to realize that that was Chris. Despite that, this video was immaculate. I am curious if Zane watched the videos beforehand, or joined them in witnessing them. But also…WHO WAS IN THE ICE?

  7. I wonder if Christmas of '98 had anything to do with Zane's lore here… odd that that video at 31:55 has a date but I don't think it gets reference…
Great work though Chris and Zane!!
