Youtube recently announced a “test” feature where if your channel is terminated, you will now actually be able to do something about it instead of just leaving it up to Youtube Support.
Also forgot to mention this is specifically for “spam policy violations” which there have been a lot of false terminations for lately, but unfortunately there’s probably still going to be a lot of false terminations due to other factors. It’s over.
audio situation is insane

how many wins does this guy have on Fall Guys
Perhaps YouTube realised that they won’t have a platform without creators.
Would’ve been nice to have back in 2019, when I retroactively got 7 strikes overnight when they “updated” their bots, and didn’t have the chance to save that channel. Give YouTube the “You Tried” trophy for this bare-minimum change.
"You can fix your videos."
Yeah, sure, if they actually tell you what you did wrong.
Googlr does only evil, to see them adding something good… means maybe they are noticing the ambivalent hate they now have from everyone
Oh yeah baby, 30 days of begging that goes ignored before you get banned and the REAL begging can start. W Youtube
Youtube is recommending I play their "games" while watching this so unfortunately the answer is no
The slop is in his bathroom again
youtube does something vaguely positive and will likely be abused… "IS YOUTUBE GOOD AGAIN!?!?!??!?!"
can I see the dislikes without an extension?
No?
well its still SHIT
This will only, count when the titlebait and thumbnailbait fakers get banned
Now if only they can fix their latest ios app update that broke LITERALLY EVERYTHING that would be great too
The slop thins, although just a little bit.
thanks slad dad
While this sounds like a good thing what if this just means they now have 30 days to ignore you instead of a week?
the slop has shit ping
"Good again"
As if you could render a thousand bad actions moot by doing one ok thing XD
Bring back the dislike button for YT reels !
wont be illegible?
eligible?
Remember, a broken clock is right twice a day.
Or in YouTube’s case, right once a year.
As an individual with the true but unlikely legal name of YouTube, I can confirm I am good again and have renounced all sin.
I was hacked and the hacker posted pirated shit on my first YouTube account: I got banned from yt and even after getting my email back one day later I didn't and never had the chance to download videos of my family I had there
I hate US intellectual property rights because of that. God everyone is so scared of getting sued I had no time to download videos that were important to me and my family
So basically you're in front of a firing squad and they give you a monty hall choice that might still end in being shot cos "lol, get dunked on" said the AI.
Wow what a great change, Youtube decides put a semi-temporary pause on the possibility of your entire career (or at least your backlog of videos) being permanently destroyed for (maybe) 30 days, as determined by an AI. Wow what a champ, they truly do care about the platform and their consumers, wow I sure do love this website now.
What a bunch of contemptible freaks. I despise this system.
looks at title. in less than a millisecond is able to answer “absolutely fucking not”
Funny how this happens two days after they deleted project Melody's channel overnight for the crime of… Actually we still don't know why they did it, especially because they reinstated her like 12 hours after her tweet complaining about it went viral.
Like we assume it had something to do with her lewd content (which has never come close to what the ads on this platform will put in front of your face), but, ya know, it's an assumption. Because of course it is.
Aaaaand where are the human moderators?
Let me see if i understand this correctly, you have 30 days to Dismember on your videos, delete all your videos on your channel or submit an appeal.
Things must demonically bad if 1 option is good.
Why do i get the feeling like this from youtube didn't do the right thing
one step forward two steps back
I already know I’m not getting matching fact because if it’s for people who just got it terminated, I’ve been terminated for almost a year and I did nothing wrong
whoahh
1:38 choke jump
This is purely optics. It’s going to help channels that make slop content keep their followers and delete their content they don’t care about. Most channels won’t be afforded this but it gives YT a nice excuse of why certain accounts get bans overturned.
Slip is slop. YT floped. And then they fell upside up
This news is so irrelevant, I'm just listening to someone else explain policy changes that affect their job at this point lol
