Using base stats to determine whether or not a Pokémon is "good" is dumb. Any Pokémon (with exceptions) can be good in circumstances where it's trainer is utilizing it to it's best potential. I think that Incineroar is trash as it's a physical fire dark type with meh abilities. Intimidate is overrated shit and easily countered by Competitive amongst others. Touch grass bro

Rapidash got done so dirty to be so bad that it only loses to a Pokemon with a single move that isn't even in the game anymore.
I know they won't do it, but they really need to redistribute both Rapidashes stats in Gen 10. Really, they needed to redistribute them in Gen 1, but I'll settle for Gen 10. It's insane that they made such a big deal of this Pokemon, they knew it would be a fan favorite, and they just gave it a trash tier ability, no stat redistribution, and no signature move. Meanwhile Galarian Weezing was sitting pretty with 2 of the best abilities in the game and a new signature move, even if that move is rarely used

Shout out to Mr. Mime also being one of the best rental pokemon in the OG Pokemon Stadium. Decent stat spread and decent movepool unlike most of the rentals so it actually could do quite well.

I feel like the concept of what a psychic type was changed significantly after gen 1. The design and presentation of Psychics throughout most of Gen 1 related media made them out to be a level beyond other pokemon. As early as Gen 2, it became just another type, and they seemed happier to throw out more basic mid tier psychics. By gen 3 we had proper low tier psychics.
It's similar to how the rock type in Gen 1 felt like it was designed more to be an obstacle for the player than a fully fledged type. Onix was a great first gym boss monster and nothing more. Rock moves were dangerous against you but too inconsistent for you to rely on.

they could have like, used hanzi from chinese or something because like, different strokes combine to make different words. they couldve had a written conlang where pokemon combine to make words
8:38 Very close! Pa'u (PUH-oo) is a skirt like Hawaiian garment. You nailed the 'okina sound (looks like an apostrophe, sounds like "uh-oh"), but the emphasis almost always will land on the second to last syllable.
Now, whether or not Pokémon will say otherwise is up to them I guess. They do butcher Komo-o, which would be kō (many things, but probably sigar cane because of the design) and mo'o (gecko/lizard/dragon). So it would be pronounced ko-MO-oh. But Pokémon does what it wants 😅
