I love universes like this: where it's just another place that doesn't make sense or leaves you with questions. The focus isn't on some stupid monster with a million HP that chases you down and kills you instantly, rather it's on the rules or events of the strange world you went into.
I'm not saying there shouldn't be monsters or entities, but that the world becomes so much more interesting when said monster is simply existing in the world, rather than the entire world revolving around the monster.
