You lost me at Sauron fighting the Balrog. Unless he's forcing it to submit and work for him…it makes zero sense. If they're actually fighting then why can't Sauron the Black kill it but Gandalf the Grey can?

The very only thing good about this is the CGI
the scale of the cinematography and the volcanic majesty of Mount Doom make this look like a theatrical blockbuster
Charlie Vickers plays Sauron's deceptive, calm evil so well you can feel the psychological pull
One of the highest budgets for a TV show ever and yet it feels so fkn low budget and low effort its fkn insane.
dropping the official trailer less than a month away from release and half the season as well already tells me all i need to know how much faith amazon has in this series at this point
Spoiler alert since there’s not that many people that know this story… Eventually There’s a creature named Gollum. He’s sort of a Hobbit like creature that finds the ring of power after Isildur loses it. It corrupts him and eventually Bilbo Baggins (a hobbit) finds it. Frodo (his heir) takes the ring and with the help of his friends, takes the ring to Mt Doom (the fiery place in the trailer) and tosses it in the fire and saves middle earth… if you didn’t know, it’s an obscure secret story …

and to think a little hobbit brings him down. It really brings home how untouched by power Hobbits are. And how it was impossible for Frodo to resist in the end. And how far he took it and how much he sacrificed and how strong loyalty, friendship, honor and hope are amidst the impossible.

Well I for one am excited to see how orcs raise a family, despite the fact that they are all male and bred for one purpose which is to end people.
To be honest I watch the first season and really did not like it so much so that I didn't even watch the second season but watching the trailer for this one I might have to rethink my decision and give it a try

The second age of middle earth is probably the best of the 3 and they are doing nothing with it. I'm going to watch because I love a good fantasy show, but it's a terrible adaptation.
