Mint Mobile is great both as a service and as a brand partner, but let it be known that I was legally required to say “thank you” to Mint Mobile right up there, which is typically not something I do with sponsors, because I’m a generally pretty rude and inconsiderate guy, and even when I am earnestly thankful— like I am to Mint Mobile for helping us finance the greatest gaming content on planet earth— I would usually keep it to myself so I don’t come across as sentimental. I would ONLY ever say “thanks” to someone out of legal obligation. Just want to make that clear. Thanks guys, have a good day.

(only one more Any Austin video before GTA6)

  2. It certainly doesn't have the fidelity that 3d open world games have, but the sunsets of Night in the Woods will always be some of my favorites. Especially the one where you just sit on a bridge and take in the scenery.

  3. Nearly 8 years after the game came out, I think your channel has done more than any of my friends or online conversations to convince me to give RDR2 a try. I was so let down when I played RdR1, like, it was just a newer, worse-playing GUN that I was amazed anyone enjoyed it, that I didn't even look at 2 for more than a few minutes over the years.
Doesn't help that large majority of the comments about the game I've heard or read have been about shrinkage physics.

  4. in Ocarina of Time, wait until sunset and then go to Kakariko village and u will be locked into an eternal sunset with the village music playing, the windmill churning and the cuccos clucking in the background

  5. I am probably bias, but man – I feel like WoW Classic should have made that list. But absolutely agree that these games all have some epic sunsets.

  6. Helldivers 2 has some wonderful things happening in the sky. The diversity of biomes on offer, the variety in the stars the planets orbit is just great (knocks starfield out of the water)
I caught a realtime eclipse recently, it was lovely, i can't remember the name but it was on a planet (moon) with a very harsh ultraviolet kind of light. Stunning.

  7. my favorite will always be The Long Dark. They're samey and can be monotonous but the 'painted' aesthetic of the skybox just sells the whole game's vibe for me. They feel desolate and lonely.

  8. My favorite sunset growing up was on Sirena Beach in Super Mario Sunshine. I used to slowly swim around in the ocean for hours, just staring at the sunset and listening to the music. There was something magical about it to me.

  9. Crimson Desert has hella beautiful sunsets, especially when you watch them from the Abyss. Watching the sun set a cross the whole game, unbelievable. Its such a pretty game.

  10. I fully agree with the inclusion of certain games in this ranking, but, in my opinion, GTA SA features better sunsets than GTA 5. Even so, I understand the criteria that were used to compile this list.

  11. He said we can look at the list ourselves and I'm really curious to see it, but I'm not sure where to access it… is there a link somewhere? Does anyone know? Thanks!

  12. I wonder if Big Walk was mentioned in any of the threads. I feel like it combines the idea behind Minecraft, where the sun setting is important for the gameplay flow, with the fact that you're kind of naturally observing the sunsets with the other players.

  13. i reckon the No.1 spot might be skewed a little, since that one particular sunset is so especially impactful, but I'm certainly not gonna argue, I'd have put it up there as well, and for the very same reason.
