  1. I miss when you talked about actual engineering stuff, shared your experiences and had thoughtful commentary on game design.

It feels like the only thing left in the tank is dick jokes, which unsurprisingly got old pretty quickly. It sucks to watch one of your favorite YouTubers fall off.

  3. this reminds me of something silly i once did with a very old game called "the ancient art of war".
that game had 3 type of units, knights, barbarians, and archers.
when i created a custom formation that had just two lines, with the rear line almost on top of the front line, the result was SO overpowered that i might as well have doubled my attack power!
units in that game had very little health, so a knight could kill a barbarian in one hit, but a barbarian would take two hits to kill a knight, so a battle between them would normally result in half the knights dead and all barbarians dead.
but my custom formation enabled the barbarians to gang up on the knights, knocking them out before they had a change to fight back!
    (barbarians also attack faster)

  4. how unexpected 😀 i never imagined a brittish person saying "how about no bow men" just from a historical point of view 🙂
i expected a thin line (20%) of swordmen to block enemys, then 80% of the force to be bowmen, and later cange to 10% sword, 20% pony, and 70% bowmen
