OG should be replaced with community voted chapters/seasons. Like if people vote for chapter 6 season 2 for example, that will be what OG is for a set amount of time. Maybe a week or two, a month tops.

I wanted the old graphics, sounds and movement. I wanted everything identical to the old season. I thought Thanos season 4 or the Mode in season 8 with the lava ground will come back but it was a disappointment.

it’s so sad to see them going off what their investors say instead of what the players say. this game has also made the standard so high for games that we will never get to feel what og fort made us feel again. it’s sickening.
Ok let’s fix this right here right now. Kill all bots or create a mode of BR that says, real players only. Then think about the loot pool. No sprites as well. Also more original skins, stop the focus on collabs. Bam I just solved half the problems. Epic should hire me

We really went from 44 million players crying tears of joy to debugging code for free in less than two years.
I personally enjoyed OG seasons 1-4 because they are the only seasons I think are good. But I was always disappointed with how they failed to recreate them 1:1.
Just to list off my biggest complaints.
Movement, ammo capacity. Damage numbers, weapon visuals, no turbo building in early seasons, and the UI.
I hope they continue OG into ch2 s2 and s3 because, to me, those felt like Fortnite's second prime.
My friends and I played it just as much the second time as we did the first time.

Epic games lost the plot smh, and also drained my wallet for the spooky season
i'll tell you the reason why i stopped playing, because they're trying to recreate the history of fortnite OG, no bots at first, then 3 days later the map was filled with 50% bots on every match, brought back the double pump just to remove it again because once again people started complaining
Epic Games has forgotten what made Fortnite popular in the first place.
The #1 selling point of Battle Royale has always been "drop in with 100 players." Now I'm dropping in with 40 players and 60 bots. For many players including myself, this is THE dealbreaker. It's unbelievable to me that Epic doesn't understand this. If they want the OG players back, it's really not that hard. Get rid of bots, clear the brainrot clutter off the main menu, and just…make a good Battle Royale season??? That's all they have to do, and yet they refuse to do it.

They move the rocket racing quests in the rocket league game
they need to hit an Apex Legends and just have og maps rotating around with new maps that they create. With different loot and stuff like you said, make it fresh
Fortnite OG shouldn't have been brought back anyway
The issue is we don’t want it a mode, we want Fortnite. The Fortnite that excited us to get on just to play on a good map we’re familiar with on an unreal engine that didn’t look too ultra realistic, and had 5 simple mechanics, running, jumping, crouching, building, and shooting. That’s the Fortnite we want back

Chapter 1 was peak gaming at the time when it was really good it was my favorite game now imo it’s not what it used to be and I bearly even play it like don’t get me wrong it’s still decent but just bring back the old days it was so fun 😢

It was not og, the old map on the current game is all it ever was, and really for all the bot lobbies I get, I think this entire game as a whole has inflated player numbers, how could i get constant bot lobbies if it’s one of the most played games period, this game is too focused on collabs and metaverses, it’s done if it doesn’t reset itself.
But when Epic focuses on BR you go and cry that they dont put attention to other modes and when they focus on everything you go and cry that they dont focus on BR enough. Its never good enough
but Rocket Racing and Ballistic and Battle Stage were pulling a 1000 players max at the time OG is still a decent playercount
or continue from season x. Go to season 11 and make map changes from then on.

I think OG should move on to chapter 2, there is a lot of nostalgia in Chapter 2 too and there would be attention to it
Honestly, I think a full shutdown of OG would be easier financially. It's like you want to spare yourself from any more disappointments.
The problem with OG is how inaccurate it is especially the lighting and the bots being in the mode

Look i know no one prop agrees but i think from chapter 1 to chapter 3 season 1 was the prime after that it was a bad game
😭 I want chapter 2
I thought the OG seasons were a mistake from the very beginning. Some OG players asked for them and assumed they would solve problems. Anyone who’s ever rewatched their childhood TV shows as an adult knew that bringing back OG and hoping for improvement was a fallacy. It couldn’t work because:
1. Fortnite had evolved, in terms of movement, mechanics and graphics. How do you handle that: do you use modern or OG movement?
2. The graphics were too outdated and old-fashioned for Fortnite players who had started playing later. Fortnite has evolved significantly for the better.
3. The ZB part of the Fortnite community was at a disadvantage because the map is designed for building.
4. In the original OG mode, there were no AI opponents. However, the player base was never large enough to make that work again.
5. Some OG players thought it was nice to play OG again for nostalgic reasons, but not as a permanent mode. It’s just too outdated for that.
Bottom line: I’d be happy if OG were discontinued as a mode and the freed-up resources were used to make Battle Royale awesome and funny, ready for aa successful future of FN.
