Shortcat i just had a question, when bouncing in the water, it is possible to get a trick. so if you spam charge jumps and then boosted charge jumps from teh tricks, wouldn't that be a speed boost in the water without slowing down because of the charge jump?

The problem I always had with Mario Kart, that I think the game Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled fixed, is the meta. While in Mario Kart you "only" see the "best" combo, while in CTR the stats are separate from the characters, so while there IS a meta, you at least have variety on characters, cars, etc.

This is the funniest session ever.
I think saying that the 8DX vr system babied us is a bit much, yeah it was less reflective of actual skill, but it was more focused towards building that vr, rather than having a fully 100% accurate system that will tell you if you’re doing bad or not. I prefer how world does it now, but it took a LOT of convincing myself that the vr system in this game is better.
