A new chapter begins! Celebrating 40 years of rock ‘n’ roll, SKID ROW introduces new lead singer JUSTIN SARGENT with an explosive cover of THE WHO’s legendary anthem “Won’t Get Fooled Again.”
After more than two years away from the stage and an extensive worldwide search, SKID ROW found it’s new frontman right where it all began — New Jersey.
Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Alice In Chains, Halestorm), who previously produced SKID ROW’s 2022 album The Gang’s All Here, the new recording brings the band’s signature power and attitude to one of rock’s most iconic songs.
The official music video was directed by acclaimed filmmaker Dale “Rage” Resteghini (Five Finger Death Punch, Guns N’ Roses, Alter Bridge).
ABOUT “WON’T GET FOOLED AGAIN
Originally written by Pete Townshend and released by THE WHO in 1971 on their landmark album Who’s Next, “Won’t Get Fooled Again” became one of the defining rock anthems of its generation.
Known for its groundbreaking synthesizer-driven sound, explosive guitar riffs, Keith Moon’s thunderous drumming, and Roger Daltrey’s unforgettable scream, the song captures the disillusionment of political revolution and the realization that new leaders can repeat the mistakes of those they replace.
More than five decades later, its rebellious spirit and unmistakable energy continue to resonate with generations of rock fans.
Now, SKID ROW puts its own stamp on this timeless classic, introducing a new voice while paying tribute to one of rock’s most influential bands.
Won’t Get Fooled Again is available across all streaming platforms Oct. 30 + for pre-order as a limited band autographed 7-inch vinyl.

A cover song? Wtf?
wow… that's not very impressive
This production lacks soul! Garbage if you ask me. Poor Scotti!
I think the dude is a pretty good singer. Anyway, at least they're all doing what they love to do. A lot more than most people can say.
Nowhere close ro sebastian. I still plan to audition ..
Sucks. Pretty Lame
Looks like they're really not getting back together with Sebastian after all.
Wow! He sounds really like Sebastian Bach!! I love it!
Congratulations Justin!!! 🎉
Who cares? We all know who should be back singing with them. I haven’t heard a single note of their own stuff since Sebastian left. Just retire already.
I liked Erik Gronwall much better
So you have the perfect song to open with a huggggggggeeeee scream…. And you duck out. Ok. GL w that…
Is it too soon to want to hear Justin sing Slave to the Grind or Monkey Business?
Sounds killer gentlemen! I so hope this works! Justin is a good fit!
Hey Snake, Paul Stanley wants his guitar back
Wow the response is bad, Holy Shit.
The final two beats are a nice nod to the intro of "Youth Gone Wild"! Cool touch! 🤘
I'm still not convinced by the singer, though. Hopefully, he'll impress me more on the next songs! Skid Row need those killer screams, otherwise they're just… Suburb Row! 🔥
Seriously you couldnt have had him sing something off the first album like Big Guns and we gotta hear him sing cover tunes?
Quiet riot wasn’t this gay
He seems like a good singer but I’ve always hated this song.
Meh…his voice is a better match with Hinder's sound than Skid Row.
Bland.
Snore……………..
The worst singer they've had until now
I'm a fan .. I DONT want Bach back… This dude can sing!!
too gay for me
Great cover of this song, which I did not really care for the song that much just because it was before my time! This sounds killer!!
This band always blew. Who cares.
no
I like it. He fits well.
sorry but … meh
