We all love Theo
WoW seems to attract certain types of players. Those types are aholes, like theo (I'm not going to be nice about it). Not saying everyone is but it is brutally obvious once you reach end game and play for a few years. This is mainly because there is little to no repercussions for bad language or behavior. When you compare it to a game that is actually discouraging bad behavior, like FF14, to the point that it is toxic positivity. You're either go to suffer like Josh did or become toxic yourself. Its a brutal cycle that only ends when you get away from this MMO version of Rust (game).
Josh, theo didn't care. He actively made your gameplay experience worse. I know I'm just a random faceless internet guy. But I highly recommend you cut ties with that guy. He will only bring you down in the long run.

I recently finished my TBC Anniversary leveling adventure to lvl70, and tried the WoW Forever Beta. I managed to play until lvl11 and got bored out of my mind. its awful. Its just classic WoW but worse with a worse UI and thumbed down mechanics.
28:30 you say "all the enemies decided to attack the healer" in vanilla wow if you go immune for any reason the mobs will attack next on threat. kinda like how if you root an enemy they will attack the highest threat that is in range instead of standing there menacingly here you can see on your debuffs you were banished (it makes you immune to damage and healing)
What is that gigantic blue square over your character? And also, WHY is there a giant eyesore square obscuring your character’s view ?

Makes me want to try out WoW Forever but I've got limited time at the moment and new Zelda Remake coming out here shortly. Hopefully I'll get the time to try it out and if anything, I'd rather start out in the game where I'm just some random new character in the world and not "THE GREAT HERO HAS COME TO SAVE US!"

as long as they keep classes balanced i'll continue to play forever. it's the #1 reason i had zero desire to play classic servers (vanilla, not TBC and beyond). seeing how active they've been with balancing shakeups i actually have hopes they'll keep it finely tuned like they do retail. yeah retail isn't perfect by any means but blizzard is at least active in balancing.

100%, I do hope that blizz does some form of resets or something with the horizontal progression, either on the legacy system — or changing the items around in the game frequently just to keep the meta shifting. But, we will see — for now. I'm very happy and agree with everything you said.

I hope I can actually get in to play tomorrow, lol. As a long time WoW player, I don't think I've been this excited about this game since probably the original launch of Cataclysm. I came in in the beginning of The Burning Crusade. So I missed out on the launch of true OG Classic. And this is exciting to experience this one at launch!
