What even was the point to this bs like this story is so anti climactic
This time on the “nothing ever happens” show that is Overwatch

That look of pity and respect he gives knowing he was just in her postion, and then letting her go because he wants her to come back stronger, sticking to his morals. While I do have some complaints about this animated short, Doomfist is still such a beautifully written villain all these years later.

It feels like doomfist is making her his apprentice in his own Doomfist way the way he says “I expect nothing less” after he already told her Talon belongs to whoever can hold it feels like he’s goading her into getting stronger there’s no doubt Vendetta is gonna get stronger and get some chracter development after this seeing as her whole thing since her release was the angry sword lady maybe she’ll lean into the legacy aspect of her crusade
