I wish greta had picked a different project after barbie!
It looks bad. I will not be watching
Hello! Love your videos. Have you watched La Bola Negra yet ? How do you think it’ll do at the Oscars? Thank you!
I think the typical streaming look has to do with color grading. Netflix always puts a brown/yellow or green, sometimes grey color filter over their stuff. The people who have read this book say the trailer is incredibly accurate, so there's that I suppose 🙂
I think this looks pretty good, it reminded me of movies like Legend and The Never ending Story. Maybe Greta should have made Masters of the Universe…
where are the black trans characters?!?
damn it looks boring lol
Streaming really has ruined movies. Look at how the original films from the early ought's where shot and compare it to these. This film looks like it came 10 years before the The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe from 2005.
All I know and hope is it will be saved by the writing
some of the scenes look so obviously filmed on a sound stage
I completely disagree with you, Grace. The trailer completely sold me! 🤯🌈🦁
“The Jason Mamoa one where he rode a bed, you know?”
No, I really don’t know, but would have loved to have been in the room when that was pitched.
Ugh. I'm getting Antman 3 vibes.
Look at the earlier film titles logos, they felt like an epic, detailed visually and had a magical presence to them. For me this new title, looks flat and contemporary hence giving a streaming film vibe.
Definitely gives Masters of the Universe vibes.
5:26 So you want them to stay in England for a Narnia movie which involves going to magical places?
Magicians Nephew and The Horse and His Boy are my two favorite Narnia books. I’m enthralled! Give it a chance.
In my view, it’s painfully obvious that this is going to be some kind of What If…? version of Thor: Ragnarok or Thor: Love and Thunder, only set in the world of The Chronicles of Narnia and featuring its characters. This has been done before with other intellectual properties, like Masters of the Universe. In other words, it’s going to be garbage, something utterly repulsive that will desecrate C. S. Lewis’s work for the sake of making a mockery of it. I won’t go anywhere near it.
the streaming look, is simply a trailer color direction filter specific to Netflix that it uses, this is done for visual consistency, for unfished post scenes and of course consumer branding
Grace is becoming less and less authentic by the day. Something has changed in the background. Too cautious these days
im keen for this
Not a great choice of music. This kind of film needs to channel magical, fairytale, sweeping orchestral music. Like Harry Potter, The other Narnia films and Lord of the Rings, who all did this very well.
Also, yes, it looks very "disco sensation" rather than magical English fantasy.

I love Greta but this trailer feels like if Multiverse of Madness and Alice in Wonderland had a child and I dont know if I like that 😭
It’s looks good I love the music
It is Netflix funded…why wouldn't it have a streaming movie feel ??
