Worlds 2026 returns to North America for a month of international competition across 3 locations. The Play-In Stage features a 4-team, double-elimination bracket, which qualifies one team into the Swiss Stage— where they will join 15 challengers from around the global to compete for the Summoners Cup at the Grand Final in New York City.

I wonder if someday Western teams will just stop competing because the Asian teams are so much better, and then it's only Asian teams, and then since there are so few teams Worlds ends because there just aren't enough teams or sponsors to make it work. Worlds doesnt seem to work. Korea and China can just play each other. No? And then maybe the rest of the world can have there own tournament?
