Man, thank you for sharing this because this shit caught me off guard. 😂 I love this album, and when Wayne came on, I was a little nervous after Tha Carter VI.
But once he started rapping, I was like, “Oh shit, this is mixtape Weezy.” He sounded hungry again.
Wayne has always been able to rap with the best of them, if not outrap them. Sometimes it just comes down to the beats, the direction, and having the right people around him to bring the best out of him. This was one of those moments.
