  1. I was excited for this game because I actually relatively enjoy the Friday The 13th Game when I was younger. This game definitely has some of that same encoding, and it does have some interesting mechanics especially to enforce that feeling of you being a killer, and the survivors getting that feeling of them actually being in danger. The biggest problem being for me, it doesn't perform well. Optimization is dog, the animations and combat often ends up being janky and a little immersion breaking, and some of the combat, on that topic, is actually useless, due to the nature of the attacks. Other than you being able to press a combination of buttons to kill somebody, which I thought was relatively intuitive for the game instead of just waiting to press a button or two, it just feels like it's missing something. I don't think this is inherently a horrible game, but it's definitely not finished. I haven't even played the multiplayer yet, btw.

  2. I absolutely love this game. Making the npcs your real target and not the players shakes up the genre immensely and makes many of the griefing toxic behaviour common in horror asyms not as effective

  3. How could you hate on Friday the 13th. Solo queuing was fun, but getting team of 8 of your friends together and playing that game for HOURS was the best times I’ve had with my friend group. So sad they took it offline

  4. I know this video is about the Halloween game, but man, I just watched Halloween 2 (1981) and to be honest, Halloween would have been much better as a standalone film. The whole Laurie is his sister plot is kind of lame in my opinion. When it comes to these type of slasher films, less is more imho, and Halloween didn't need a trilogy.
