Mr Mumbo you have influence upon the great mojang, tell them to make ice bricks
Gods, I feel like Hermitcraft is shaping the direction of the entire game. Last season we had BDub’s trying so hard to make tennis and Ren’s Scootball… for Mojang to release the Chaos Cubed update that made minigames (like theirs) easier.
It’s interesting that between Mumbo (focus on making paintings from in game ‘photos’) and Xisuma (focus on making custom music disc)…
Putting on the tin foil hat™️, I cannot help but wonder if there is currently in the works for a deeper music system and a way to make custom art. We know music is more important for the Sift (as seen in MCD2). With conjunction with the focus on exploration and finding unique locations, adding a way to capture the site similar to Mumbo has…
I know it is probably a case of correlation is not causation, but a man can dream.
Architectural engineering student here! I wanna use your city skyscrapers as references for my upcoming projects cuz they’re so so so nice
On a real note, ice caves would be so sick in Minecraft
The kit room comment is somehow so relatable it’s just that my kit room is just my backpack which is arguable worse. (I do not recommend a climbing rubber flavoured cheese sandwich)
Can anyone sample the first "scar" when mumbo sees the sky ? It must be sent to Cubfan so he can maje a custom horn !
Omg. Mumbo, You did really fly back to a dappled forest to collect leaf litter which you can also get by simply putting leaves into a furnace?
fun fact: so much of our world is in 4/4 time signature that it legitimately feels off and wrong when something is any other time signature. the human heartbeat is 4/4, among countless other things.
it's so pervasive that Fromsoftware purposely made the attack patterns of certain Dark Souls bosses NOT a 4/4 rhythm (as nearly all of them are) just to throw players off. one of the hardest early/mid-game bosses in Dark Souls 3 is the Dancer of the Boreal Valley. she's the only boss in the game who's rhythm isn't 4/4, and people struggle mega hard to keep up with her as a result.
21:57 "I BUIT A THING!!!!!!!!!"
Xisuma's song sounds like something you'd hear in the Sift
You seem to have either messed up your encoding or forgot to set it up again after the move?
Or just haven't had the time to do maybe, but just in case you didn't know, the video is compressed to bits (pun intended).
Xb has a shop right behind the art gallery where you can order huge quantities of blocks.
Yes, Cub added the extra flocks for visual interest as you're traveling the course, and he did make sure they're all traveling in the same direction as your originals. I think it's wonderful that the little house in France ended up with you, as most other people who'd want to live in such an area would tear it down to build something bigger, but you're making what's there work for you, instead. When it come down to the cost of heating and powering a smaller home, you're going to come out such much further ahead!
Tell X that all music is in 4/4 if you don't count like a nerd
If you need leaf litter you should talk with Joel. Hes got tons from clearing the forest near him
22:57 mumbo, this is very reminiscent of the concept of "greebling" in minature design and 3d modeling! if you weren't already aware.
Mumbo living in France and mispronouncing Bon Iver got me good.
We need a Xisuma and Mumbo podcast!
7:30 "I've become whatever a leaf-blower isn't" almost made me spit out my drink
Im seriously enjoying all of the new style of your videos. so rewarding than just a normal minecraft content, to learn more from you guys about the process and creativity. Thank you Mumbo
You’re an inspiration the way you see the good in every moment. Im always reminded of it whenever there’s a new update: most people look for what they didn’t get and things they don’t like, but you always say how lovely it is and all the new possibilities it’s awesome to see someone who embraces new things so well. I’ve noticed it in how you work too, you’re always improving always changing yourself not afraid or arrogant of change. You improve. The way you build, your redstone, your editing your graphic design even your streaming. Im so happy when I watch someone enjoy what they do so much Im so happy for you. Congrats on your new home and your engagement! I can’t wait for the next episode, the next season, the next great change you make!
-Peace love and plants!
The way he keeps calling it the "autumnal zone" cracks me up😭
I'm a scientist and I often have to remind my trainees when they're writing or giving a presentation not to talk to THEMSELVES. Just because something is notable or interesting to them doesn't mean it's notable or interesting to their audience or the field. Talk to your audience. Kill your darlings.
Believe it or not I think Arc Raider's aesthetic could really be a neat source of inspiration for city junk. Just random stuff to put on corners of buildings, streets, and the like.
Been playing it recently and it reminds me of the look you have been chasing! Good luck!
the conversation with Xisuma has to be the longest Mumbo has ever stood still lol
Hey, France, what's wrong with you, holding up this man's Visa? Don't you know your basically stealing a national treasure from the UK, for the cost of processing his paperwork?
I'm still hoping that the empty plot in the back gets a reference to the movie UP
Mumbo in Hermitcraft: "I'ma lock in. I'ma lock in. …"
Pan to Mumbo on a snowing mountain "…I took a nap"
"for you Americans watching" expecting a conversion in feet
"slightly larger than a Ford F150" oh! okay, that works too
Mumbo really glazed Scar(It's reasonable) 😂
The zombie with egg?????
Mumbo, odds are you won't read this.
I have been watching you for years.
All of my PCs are down, I have not played minecraft in years.
Watching you explore a new update gave me the same excitement I used to get playing along while watching hermitcraft. Then I got the same nostalgia I used to get downloading the hermit craft worlds post season to explore.
I'm so glad you still make content.
1:26 he's so proud 😭
I think a good idea would be to take inspiration from Scar's stars. maybe not as many , but the idea of using gray and black glass and such to create a smog overhead that makes the stars really hard to see would look really cool over the city.
0:56 remember when you said living next to grian meant you had to pay the grian tax? Well grian accepts payment in grain
It would be cool if you made the pillager tower into a raider area that might loot the city which could lead to making security guard like robots that could potentially patrol through the streets
Nah, bamboo everywhere makes sense. You ever tried to contain bamboo?
Scar's base is logically the best place to see stars. There is no light pollution.
