Getting enough tank kills to drop a nuke is considered a great achievement in War Thunder, and I’ve somehow managed to drop almost 200 of them. I decided to play the AMX-50 Surblinde and Sherman Jumbo 76 to pass that milestone.

ive dropped 4 nukes and have gotten 1min to midnight a few times. one of whitch was in 7 min that one realy grinded my gears

At a guess, i've dropped about 70 nukes all up with the last nuke dropped being 4 days ago, always between 6.0 (Uptier games) to 8.3… To my knowledge about half are with an american lineup with a few spread amongst france, germany, russia and maybe like 5 between italy and sweden
I feel you on the U.S. team. I am a pretty garbage player, but I had a game today playing U.S. where I literally had 90% of the kills on my team. Suffice to say we lost by a wide margin

I've gotten a nuke like 5-10 times, once under the original (3500 SP?) system that I spawned but never dropped, then again after they lowered the cost to 2500 I got one again and didn't notice and spawned it in too late and that's been the story for every other one save for like two that I spawned and died in.
2 nukes dropped first was ash river in amx 50 foch, second was on pradesh with the roikat. A few that I haven't dropped running c13 ran out of tickets, yak 9k but didn't drop because it felt cheap and 3 others shot down.
I suck far too much at this game to have dropped a nuke. Doesn't help that I've only ended up high enough to even see nukes in the last… year or so? I CBA to grind enough.

Got real close once playing the T72 M1 while playing with my german lineup but… cus German mains exist we got stupidly power creeped and by the time I noticed I was close to get a nuke by 2 maybe max 3 kills, there were pretty much no one alive on my team and I missed the two last opportunities to get kills for the nuke and the game ended because we ran out of tickets… when having german, american, russian, and on rare ocassions japanesse mains, majority of the time they suck, but as enemies 99% of the time they are invincible and power creep the shit out of my team…

The closest I've ever gotten was having the icon show up. I was maybe 1-2 kills away. Full uptier on Maginot using the Japanese Easy 8. Got killed before I could get enough points.

It took many many hours for me to drop my first nuke, and have dropped like maybe 4 or 5 in 2800+ hours.
