I would just like to clear up: I fully believe Dream is blatantly cheating, and the evidence I haven't yet released which will be in my final video about this makes it undeniable that Dream will cheat in absolutely anything to gain an advantage in terms of content or PvP , i'm finishing up editing as fast as i can, coming soon

3:29 I’d argue that it makes it more impressive that he won the duel if dream was allegedly cheating during it. He’s taking in extra factors that in this style of tournament shouldn’t matter. It’s one thing to fight 8 year olds on Hypixel Skywars lobbies with hack clients, but it’s another level when it’s a BO10 1v1 vs someone that is claimed to be your equal match, on the biggest YouTube channel on the website, in the biggest game in the world, during a time when nearly everyone in the entire minecraft community has built up this match for weeks if not months
Being honest here, i think either way it's just really dishonest to accuse him while using technoblade who died btw, and i think a lot of the hate is forced, and i think he is right that this matters way more than his speedruns even if it's really suspicious, because this actually harms real people which is techno's family who did nothing wrong, sure his manhunts could be faked, his speedruns could be spliced but who cares when theres bigger stuff like this that concerns other people who is innocent and isnt there anymore, if i was dream i wouldve done the same, obviously i wouldn't fake my speedruns or manhunt but i would've tackled this problem first, it's completely ridiculous and it kind of just not cool to use a deceased person's name just to push your own agenda

People are simply pointing out oddities that match up with his LONG proven history of cheating in publicly available videos. It seems like Dream cheated in some important instance and he deserves to be called out for it, but it still makes ABSOLUTE sense for him to respond first to the more emotionally relevant matter to him. The one discrediting a duel he had with a dear friend of his that passed away. That's an extremely human reaction.
I haven't coded hacks in a game for so long, but I'm just thinking about how I'd do it, stripped logs would have absolutely nothing to do with an aim-bot. Perhaps if you're being dumb when you code you make it so the aim-bot needs you to be standing on a solid block so it wouldn't work while you're on something like a trapdoor or leaves or something, but if you're checking block states stripped logs are the same as regular logs. There would be no reason to ever check the individual block you're standing on because then you would have to code for every single block in the game, which is easily the most dumb thing ever. From the footage I'd say with certainty that dream is using an aim-bot, but using stripped logs as a reasoning behind it is so dumb, and just making it harder to find "proof" people have in the future believable.

doesn't matter about whether the 'facts' glestic had in his video were true or not, he said in the 'techno knew' portion of his video that it was pure speculation, ie. no real proof.

jumping to that conclusion and then saying "oh techno cant confirm it anymore but it's pretty obvious" is what's gross.
i do agree, a lot of people (twitter) have decided it's true, and when thinking of those people specifically, i understand why dream would call it gross.
even going along with this idea that techno knew, there's a chance he didn't even confront dream about it, so dream wouldn't even know himself. (speculation for argument's sake)
however, the majority of people who actually care about this whole situation (aside from twitter ofc) do NOT have that view.

About the Techno duel- the evidence wasnt just stripped logs. In 1.8 when you swap from a fishing rod to a sword and try to attack as fast as possible, the best pvpers maybe do 1 or 2 perfect swaps where on the first frame possible to attack, they do. Techno i think did it once in the duel, but Dream did it like 40/40 times he swapped. Theres also more evidence but im too lazy to write it out. Im 90% sure he was cheating in the duel

What did Dream expect, if you script your videos and call them unscripted, cut your uncut videos, cheat your speedruns and then harass the moderators for months for finding you out, say you havent profited from something you clearly profited A TON from, who the hell is gonna believe you ever? Its unpleasant that Techno may he rest had to be roped into this post mortem, but Dream has literally no right to claim a moral high ground, whether they were good friends or not I find it very difficult to believe Techno wouldnt think Dreams constant lies and egomania arent cringe
