Based on my own calcs, the worst defensive type combinations are, in order:
1- Ice-Rock
2 -Grass-Ice / Grass-Bug
3- Grass-Psychic / Ice-Bug
4- Rock-Ground
5- Grass-Fighting / Grass-Dragon / Grass-Dark / Ice-Dark
While the best would be:
1- Steel-Fairy
2- Steel-Flying
3- Steel-Dragon / Steel-Ghost
4- Steel-Water
5- Normal-Ghost
This is in general terms based on averages, doesn't account for the many in-battle factors

What if for your whole team, you set a BST cap , like for example, my team cant have over 1000 total BST
And you have to build your team around that
The person who's closest to that cap gets a buff on 1 pokemon, the loser gets a debuff
The new mega's y not add them in and choose your starter and give them any ability

Not to say that it is better than Extreme Speed, but there is the "Tidy Up" as a nice normal set up cleaner along with buffing (for when you get normal type and free move from that type). Could be interesting to use for set up.
They should do one where they have to take the physical pokemon on screen (like they cant evolve it)
Given that you're essentially drafting bad type combos to fight against, I think it might have made sense to snake draft in a video like this

Possible video idea if possible: Build your teams in some simple way so it’s faster but then every time a Pokemon swaps out they have a different ability

Day 4 of commenting my video idea of making worse Pokémon better another way!
You add 2x to every bst below 500. 450 Bst would become 550, 300 would become 700 etc. Stats are distributed not equally, but spread based on their stats.
You can evolve Pokémon but can choose the devolved form if it’s on screen for the stats. No eviolites and you get the move set of the full Pokémon. For example a nymble (god roll for this) would have these stats:
HP: 124 (scaled from 33)
Attack: 173 (scaled from 46)
Defense: 151 (scaled from 40)
Sp. Atk: 79 (scaled from 21)
Sp. Def: 94 (scaled from 25)
Speed: 169 (scaled from 45)
Total: 790
If you want to spice it up further you can take stuff from the other Pokémon on screen like the type from one and one move from another. I’d love to see this play out and I think this would be awesome! It also makes it so the battles will be intense regardless since you can’t get anything under 500 or anything above 790.

Video idea. Time limit catch, random starters, or fan gifted eggs. But no legendaries or pseudo legendaries. You each get one mythical(no Regi's outside the original three and Regigigas). The rest are pokemon you guys have previously said are amazing but have just never really used in videos (i.e Porygon line, Lucario, Spiritomb, Frostlass, etc.). Can give them any 4 moves and any ability. BUT if they have a signature move(ex. Lucario with Aura Sphere) you must use that on them.
