As such, there is no visual difference between a non-shiny and shiny.
So the Pikachu could have been shiny, Pat would have had to choose it in order to find out (like Minior)

actually nvm finneon/lumineon shiny appreciation was all the birthday I need. The color is more like how some real life neon tetras look when they "fire down" (become less colorful) during sleep/night 🙂

Shady's first Pokemon has a higher BST than every other Pokemon and form in the game except for Eternamax Eternatus.
2:06 every water type is that shiny color especially in the earlier generations because they used a color setting (changing hues,saturation etc) for all the Pokémon instead of making an entirely new sprite for shinies.
Nowadays (after 3D models) shinies are designed intentionally e.g. lunala representating a blood moon, the galar birds going back to their og colours etc
Why don't they ever try double protect?

In the thunderous Dodrio round, I would have ruled that the type has to change so if he took the flying type from Dodrio, it would have replaced the electric type of thunderous making is mono-flying rather than replacing the flying with flying.
