Flying Mounts: YES, but extremely hard to obtain and character based.
Meeting Stones: YES
Quest Tracking: YES
Transmog: YES, but only if you obtain the gear and consume it and only if character based/bound.
Dungeon Finder: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Advertise in chat or join a guild/community to find players for content, THEN make your way to the stone!
Level Scaling: NO
Level Boosts: NO. But maybe years into it so blizz can make their $.
Cross Realm grouping: NO, but YES for PvP/Arena and also MAYBE years into it depending on player base.
Portals/Fast Travel: NO, just the original Mage portals, and maybe some new additions but removing too much travel leads down the wrong path, imo.
Account Wide progression: Bare minimum. Titles, and maybe an achievment points overall for all your characters combined displayed next to your characters points.

Making a good classic + is easy. Make sure you hire nothing but Chuds, don't allow any women on the team. Have a poster on the wall clearly stating, anti-woke, anti-bots, anti-gold farmers.
Classic+ is going to suck because people like xar who want absolutely nothing changed in wow is going to make it boring as fuck. No new classes, no new races. 25 warriors in mc again
Runescape is not a smaller IP. Runescape has a lower player count daily, but overall Runescape has had over 300 million players. WoW has had somewhere between 100-200million. So in reality Runescape has had substantially more players.
It would be cool that classic+ is a test of new engine and graphics that will be used in retail and test it in classic+. Not a 1:1 classic with new graphics but also what people expect of new content and redesign. But noone would see coming new graphics and engine. That would be awesome.
And then it's gonna be Classic+… MOBILE! What, you guys don't have phones? :)))))))))))))))))
