  1. It's set in a desert because it's super easy for their terrain generation algorithm to create and look about as good as you would expect an empty desert to look without anyone really needing to do much work

  2. Bethesda hasn't made anything I'm interested in for quite a while. Unfortunately, Elder Scrolls and Fallout have been dumbed down and simplified with every subsequent release and I have the same expectation for Sentinel. That said, there's a good chance that I will eventually buy ES6 but only after it's been cut down to 50-75% off.

  3. phantom blade zero is almost the same thing as Wu Kong just saying in my play through but once you clear everything out, there’s nothing else to do I like the respawning

  4. your shirt is the game that should be made I played Elder schools online for 10 years so toxic I don’t think I’ll ever even get the new one. crimson Desert beat them to it already imo the desert is boring

  5. I’ll say this about Elder Scrolls though. I don’t understand the push for Bethesda to drastically alter their approach, formula, or engine. Yes, the optimization needs to improve. But the goofy, sometimes light hearted “meme” lane in which this series operates in is a MASSIVE aspect of the appeal. And I wouldn’t want that necessarily compromised. Just make a better game, but change the engine and performance. The “simplicity of the gameplay” is not an issue for me the same way it is for other people. In fact, I would argue the simplicity makes Elder Scrolls a very user-friendly and digestible RPG because of it. Also, modding is important too. But I hope we don’t feel the NEED to mod because Bethesda actually listens to what the fanbase finally wants

  6. I don't think they are nimble enough to overcome all of the weight they have added. I would like to hope they could, but the expectations are so high I don't think anyone could meet them.

  7. I’m actually really disappointed by Hammerfell. I think it’s too safe. Granted, it should look amazing visually and graphically, but I feel like the NPC’s there are going to be largely just humans. Other areas of Tamriel have much more fascinating lore that hasn’t been used nearly as much. Really hoping the game is cosmetically brilliant, at least. But what I really want is more than one region.

  8. i feel crazy reading all the comments sections on TES 6 videos, seems like everyone is just cynical and giving up. I've loved every play through of Skyrim i've done and never thought Bethesda owed me another game. the gaming landscape has really changed, everyone demanding things from developers and studios instead of just enjoying all the games that are already out there while they wait.
