Last episode of Vision Quest will be 1125. We will see something at the end of that that will change everything we know about Doomsday.

For those who don't follow the comics, Victor von Doom and Tony Stark were actually college roommates, and there was a storyline where Doom took over Tony's suit to become the Infamous Iron Man. While Marvel has stated the upcoming films won't adapt the comics directly, I think the twist they are setting up is that Doctor Doom is actually a variant of Tony Stark.
Think about their history. Tony already resented Steve Rogers because of Bucky, which culminated in Steve and Bucky jumping him during Civil War. Despite the fallout of the Sokovia Accords, surviving the vacuum of space, and enduring the Blip, Tony managed to move on and build a life with a wife and a child. It is no coincidence that Robert Downey Jr. is playing Doom. Iron Man is Doom.
I believe Steve Rogers completely screwed up the timeline when he chose to stay in the past. Remember, it was Steve who convinced Tony to leave his family for the Time Heist, which ultimately cost Tony his life. Tony already had plenty of reasons to hate Steve for what happened to his parents; now, he has lost his life, his wife, and his daughter. In this alternate timeline, Steve's meddling meant Howard Stark never had to search for Captain America in the ice, perhaps Pepper Potts was never even born. Steve got to go back, live his life, and have a family, while Tony comes back to find his wife and daughter gone, his actions cost Tony everything.
This drives Tony to become Doom—the smartest man in the room, combining advanced technology with mystic powers, likely after making a deal with the Scarlet Witch once she went off the rails. Everyone assumes the painting we've seen shows a boy and his mother, but I think it actually depicts Iron Man’s family. In fact, Morgan’s short hair matches the child in that painting perfectly.
Doom is now assembling his own team, consisting of people who lost everything and didn't get to cheat time: the Hulk (who lost Natasha), the Scarlet Witch (who lost Vision), and Spider-Man (who lost Aunt May). Why wouldn't they follow the one man they know put his life on the line every single time, even when he had the most to lose?
Mark my words: it might not happen in this next movie, but by the time we get to Battleworld, Doctor Doom will unmask and deliver the most famous line in Marvel history: "I am Iron Man."
That's my two cents. Go ahead and lock it in—I'm officially Team Doom!

I agree that casual fans will be confused by much of this movie. There will not be enough time to explain everything.
Marvel needs to make this Avengers: Doomsday trailer feel like a big moment. I’m ready to see more of Robert Downey Jr. As Doctor Doom. I want to see how the heroes come together. I want to know what this means for the future of the MCU.
I hope Marvel shows us some action. I hope there are scenes too.. Maybe a few surprises.. Please don’t spoil the biggest parts.
The road, to Secret Wars is getting closer. The hype is real. I can’t wait.

I really wanted Famke to pop up. Her character really got screwed in the X-Men movies.
Characters like Yelena, Shuri and Female Black Panther, Shang Chi, Red Guardian, Ghost, Cassie Lang, Kamala Khan – are absolutely pointless for Doomsday. They all should be killed in first 3 minutes.

Doomsday might slip up and do worse than Spiderman. Why I say that, well they are introducing a character who is well know but hasn't been introduced properly in the MCU, certain circumstances, yes. My thing is they better tell this story right and make it make sense, because all the characters and action scenes won't mean JACK if the story is not on point. They have alot of explaining to do.

Marvel is building serious anticipation with its masked characters, and I believe audiences will go wild in theaters! The Russo brothers know exactly what they're doing. This trailer is a calculated marketing move, and I expect the CGI, visual effects, and final production to be spectacular. Marvel is playing the long game!
